Ads That Say, "Leaving Soon..."
Does that really work?!
For myself, there were times when I was considering a lady, and when I saw that she was leaving town, it changed my mind.
If the first visit is a good time, I'll come back. I like to develop some kind of relationship.
Do some guys prefer to wait until the last minute? It just seems counter intuitive to me.

I agree. Where's the ladies' incentive to give good service if repeat business is not possible?
I avoid UNLESS she comes back on a regular basis.

What about signature lines and showcases saying "UTR" , when the provider has pictures in ads and showcases, plus the provider posts frequently?
Must be a 30000 foot high radar.
Does that work as well?

I love it when they say retiring in 3 months then that 3 months in 6 months then they come back and say I've changed my mind. Next fall. Lol

I chuckle sometimes at the "I'm retiring ads." It is kind of like those Furniture stores who are always having liquidation sales and "going out of business, all inventory must go." Heck, it you can get some decent furniture or a good piece of ass - who cares? I'll take a bargain any day. Just get there early because there are a lot of shoppers.

Yeah.. I had to choke on my own retirement crow. So next time, I'm just going to be gone. No fanfare, no thread... just gone.

I share those things for LOB's and prefer to not disclose it on boards like these ... I don't think there's a such thing as free pussy anyways in some shape or form. When I retire, that means I've found the best, most financially supporting Lover and it's only him I want to provide for.
As for the ladies that have advertised so, I personally wouldn't do so myself, but I do understand it as a marketing technique, something no different than the white knight written reviews, endless thre-ADS ( shout out to wulf) , signatures, loud colors and super kinkiness that can always be typed up and created, yet never done, etc.
No different than groups like Destiny's Child and TLC claiming show "X" is their final performances together - it's all marketing and of course not true ( ok well obviously TLC won't ever be performing together ever again, but , we get the point!)
Is it the most savvy of all techniques? Maybe not. Maybe so.

I totally agree, it's a turn-off for me.
Another one that gets me is when I see "hurry, slots filling up fast!" Wow, talk about feeling like you're part of a cattle call! I'd rather see someone that says "dammit I'm horny and no one is replying to my ads!" LOL!

Yeah, they gotta realize, what works for Brett Favre doesn't necessarily translate to the escort biz.
And yes, the "hurry up, limited openings" sounds too much like, "three holes, no waiting".

If it is a marketing technique, it's a horrible one if I am their target customer.
If it was DCs final album I can buy it and keep it forever. If it was their final performance I could go see it once and regardless if it was their final one or not I'm not going to see it 10 times.
When I see anything about retirement or moving away so "come see me" in a provider's ad, in my mind I immediately write them off as somebody I won't see. I just don't have the interest in meeting somebody knowing that will be the only time I can see them (my pornstar crushes are an exception).

You know, I haven't given it much thought since I'm still new around here. I've seen the ads as others have here about leaving or retirement, but am surprised on how it turns people off around here on. I get why really and am neutral on it myself, but it's interesting to see the reactions...

Any claim like "going out of biz/last day here/booking up quickly/the best you've ever had..." is, IMHO, a clear indicator of just the opposite.... I prefer low-key friends and thus pretty much circulate in the community of "UTR/no need to advertise" acquaintances.....
That said WALDT and thus the market supports, to some degree, this hyperbola approach

Good topic here.
Now does this also apply to ladies who tour cross country whereas "last day in town" is quite literal?
