I am considering taking a trip to either cities for spring break. Which do you prefer putting aside hobby requirements?

Dallas seems to have more arts and cool stuff to check out....Nola seems to be for history buffs imho

For Spring Break, I'd choose neither. I'd head to Florida or Gulf Shores, Alabama area.

But out of the two, if you're a heavy drinker, gotta go with New Orleans. It's not Mardi Gras time but the bars are still open and there's a lot of great live music in the bars in the Quarter. There are also a few good whores out that way. Not as many or as overall gorgeous as in Dallas, but there are still a few good ones.

Yeap, I know about that,,,Everyone knows that New Orleans wins in the entertainment department,,,The only thing that Texas has to show for itself is Austin but that city is mediocre at best.
