Sundance Square - restaurants, some shopping and lots of art galleries. Movie theater, Bass Hall and comedy club.
West 7 - bars and restaurants and little far down are the museums
Stockyards - bars, restaurant, some shopping and Billy Bobs

Nice Guy is correct on all the highlights in Fort Worth. I would like to propose myself as something to do while you’re in town. 😉

The Railhead BBQ for some of the best BBQ in Ft. Worth just off Montgomery Street and I-30.

Also the Ft. Worth Zoo is rated the 2nd best zoo in the USA.

the water gardens just south of the convention center.
while only one of the fountains was running in late sept, it is a nice quiet oasis.

then go to a bar/restaurant near magnolia st (s. of the expwy and east of the baylor scott & white hospital) for a stiff drink and great vittles.

then maybe something "hard & stiff" for dessert :^}

Just went there for the first time two days ago. They def are amazing. Their sauce is incredible. I could almost drink it.
