A yes recommendation is exactly what it says, it means he would recommend others see her. If it's a nightmare as he described, it should be a no bc based on his experience since he won't go back bc of the issues then he shouldn't recommend to anyone else.
Example, I go to a restaurant and the food is terrible. I can go about saying that yes I still ate the food bc I was starving even though it sucked, but I'm not going to recommend anyone go eat there bc it sucked even though I was hungry and ate it.

Everyone can make their own choice but if he isn't going back and he didn't have a good experience, then HE shouldn't recommend.
