there are no doubt several examples of polling "indifference", including people telling pollsters they are Democrat and voting Clinton and then simply didn't vote. they certainly weren't going to vote Trump. they might have believed their own kool-aide that Clinton
really did have a "cooked" 10 point lead. so they figured they didn't need to vote for her.
