Default Sen. Feinstein defends Senators Cruz & Hawley’s objections to electoral college vote count, calls for open dialogue

https://www.oann.com/sen-feinstein-d...open-dialogue/
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) gave a surprising defense of GOP Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).
On Tuesday, the Democrat spoke to reporters and said she supports Hawley and Cruz’s objections to the electoral vote count earlier this month.

“The Senate is a place of freedom,” Feinstein said. “People come to speak their piece.”

Feinstein’s comments came amid Democrat calls to have Hawley and Cruz expelled from the Senate for their objections on January 6. She went on to say it is important to have an open dialogue, especially among lawmakers.

Feinstein is as senile as fiden -and her CCP handler/chauffeur will have to set her straight along the proper 'PC thought of chairman Xi" pronto.

Not to mention the howling, screaming, 'safe space demanding' LSM and anaymous internet mobs, and her own colleagues - will be on Feinstein for this no-no bigly!
How dare she - openly approve of two of teh DPST/CC biggest enemy/targets - whose support for Constitution, bill of Rights, and Equality under the law - ( and condemn voter fraud) - differ so radically from teh marxist party of AOC,Omar, tlaib and like terrorists.

Feinstein will be recalled pronto by gov Gruesome - he has no choice!
LOL
DPST's are showing their real colors - and beginning to savage each other over ideologic conformity!

It's true that what Hawley and Cruz did was legal and their choice as Senators. However I just think it's contemptible.

Ted Cruz did it because he thinks it will get him elected in 2024. Hawley did it because he looking to turn the United States into a christian theocracy where the president is also our holy leader.

Damn! Finally somebody on the Left acknowledges the truth

However I just think it's contemptible.

Ted Cruz did it because he thinks it will get him elected in 2024. Hawley did it because he looking to turn the United States into a christian theocracy where the president is also our holy leader.
Or they both did it out of principled objection to the voting irregularities anybody paying attention, knows happened in Penn. and AR.

Did you think it was contemptible when Democrats took to the House floor in '05 and '17 and objected to certifying Republican electors? ( A )If you did and said so at the time, I want to congratulate you for being the only one that did. ( B )If you were completely unaware that Democrats did this, join the club, I didn't know it either until I heard it on Fox News and realized that no MSM was reporting this even though CNN did report it at the time.

https://www.cnn.com/2005/ALLPOLITICS...ral.vote.1718/

Or ( C ) you did know that Democrats did the same thing, object to certifying electors and you didn't find it contemptible which would make you a hypocrite.

Are you A, B or C?

That old senile girl needs to go if she does not know the difference between Senators and the President basically encouraging armed insurrection and one or two Congressional members objecting on principle.

My alternative universe is to not give these fucking traitors, cover.

Josh Hawley has been described as the one man most likely to turn the U.S. into a theocracy.

Nice deflection but you didn't answer my question did you. Are you aware that Democrats did the same thing, object to certifying electors, that Hawley and Cruz did and were they contemptible?

I am aware that other politicians have done so in the past. No deflection here on my part. The difference between those earlier objections and what Hawley and Cruz did has to do with the fact that they continued to object even after a violent attempted coup of the government by right wing Trump addled rioters. In my opinion that makes it contemptible.

So you abandon your principles when a mob threatens? Sorry, that isn't what principled people do. You don't give up and run. You do what your constituents sent you there to do, object because you know there were irregularities and you don't want those mistakes made again and again.. Not having caused the mob, which they are also being accused of doing, they didn't, you don't give up when the mob threatens.

But I do want to thank you again for admitting that Sen. Hawley and Cruz did exactly what Democrats have done minus the mob. I couldn't get the rest of the Progressive mob to admit that. We can disagree on whether they should have continued what they were legally entitled to do and what their counter parts did.

I wanted to make that point clear and others wouldn't admit it and it was pissing me off.

Cruz or Hawley has about a snowball's chance in hell of becoming president someday. Hitching your wagon to the Trump Train is a death sentence for any Republican with presidential ambitions. If Trump doesn't do you in first, the electorate will when it comes time for the general election.

You're joking about the theocracy, right? I can't see anyone turning to Trump for religious enlightenment, except maybe The Waco Kid.

On the other hand, "Trump the American Ayatollah", it has a nice ring to it.

Glad you chimed in Tiny. You were on my mind when I listened to John Brennan speak about Joe Biden's plan to root out domestic terrorist. You did identify as a Libertarian I think and anybody else on this board who consider themselves a Libertarian, heed these words form our former head of the CIA and now talking head on MSNBC.

https://thefederalist.com/2021/01/21...-libertarians/

John Brennan: Biden Intelligence Agencies To Investigate Pro-Trump ‘Bigots’ And ‘Libertarians’

Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan said federal intelligence agencies’ top priority, under the leadership of President Joe Biden, is seeking to root out people in pro-Trump “insurgency” groups filled with “white supremacists.

“I know, looking forward, that the members of the Biden team who have been nominated or have been appointed are now moving in laser-like fashion, to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements that we’ve seen overseas, where they germinate in different parts of the country and they gain strength, and it brings together an unholy alliance frequently of religious extremists — so authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, and even libertarians,” Brennan said on MSNBC.

The decision to target these groups, Brennan admitted, stemmed from the recent riot at the Capitol and the administration’s belief that then-President Donald Trump incited an insurrection among his supporters that could continue to be a “threat to our democracy and our republic.”

“Unfortunately, I think there has been this momentum that has been generated as a result of unfortunately the demagogue of rhetoric of people that just departed government, but also those who continue in the halls of Congress,” Brennan continued. “And so I really do think that the law enforcement, Homeland Security Intelligence, and even the defense officials are doing everything possible to root out what seems to be a very, very serious and insidious threat to our democracy and our republic.”

Despite repeatedly insisting that Obama’s intelligence agencies conducted “no spying on Donald Trump’s campaign,” a claim contradicted by inspector general reports, a two-year special counsel probe, congressional inquiries, and continued investigation, Brennan has repeatedly lied about the role Christopher Steele’s dossier played in the FBI and CIA’s review of disproven collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. He is also well-known for other public lies on TV and to Congress while under oath.

This is MSNBC's go to guy on Intelligence! Scary!

So all you Libertarians out there that thought you were safe from the new guard, watch yourselves because the former head of the CIA and confidant to Democrats, just lumped you in with domestic terrorist groups. In other words, if you do not believe what John Brennan and this group of democrats believe, you will be considered an insurrgent and you will be hunted down and punished because you just might be as bad as Al Qeada.

Welcome to Joe Biden's America.
