What is the difference between an ATF and sugarbaby?
Is there any difference? in expectation? Time? and Money?
Just want to know the difference, A provider ask me to be her sugardaddy last week, and I really don't know how to response-
My understanding is -To a client( me)
Regular- Provider I see monthly, and I pay normal fee and tip
ATF- Provider I see weekly or 2-3 time a month. She give me a discounted rate, and I make a commitement to see her as we agree.
Sugarbaby- Someone I support monthly, She make time for me per agreement. It depended on the agreement set up between both party.
So what does most sugarbaby looking for in the arrangement? My friend all tell me this often end badly......

I don't think ATF means, you are going to see her n times per week or month etc. Its just means, she is your favorite and usually will see her over more times than any other provider you see.
Sugarbaby, is more of exclusive access or some sort of pre-arranged agreement of monthly or whatever regular payments. Which means, she is available whenever your in mood for her. I guess there could be variations ether, since I am not into that sugardaddy/sugarbaby world.

For some, describing a particular woman as an ATF has no meaning other than really liking her. Similar to rating her 11 out of 10.

To me a SD/SB relationship is something MORE than with an ATF or regular. My past SBs I get to know WAY better than even a provider I see twice a week. We go to dinner, she knows about my life, I know about hers. I help in other ways than just money -- mentoring, tutoring if she's in school, helping set up businesses, and just listening to her bitch if necessary. There's also not a clock on our meetings -- we'll have thirty minute quickies and overnights. But she's still not a GF -- we each have our own lives. It's basically all the benefits of having a GF with non of the headaches.
Whereas your ATF is just the best fuck buddy you've ever had. Sure, you pleasure each other, but she's there to make sure you have a good time. There's more give in a SD/SB relationship than in a provider situation. Plus, SB's tend to be cheaper over the long run.

DallasBP- I agree. I used to have a "friend of benefit" just like you described. She was a student in UTD, and I was helping her through college and professional school. It was much easiler to met a simple college student's demand and need. We both were happy with the "Arranged Relationship" until it ended when she moved out of state for her job in 2005. However we still remain good friends and keep in contact.
However....I just wonder can you really make a sugarbaby out of a professional provider? Their need and demand will probably be very different from a simple college student.

Some time I feel my kid is the only reason I stay married, other time I feel is the fear of lossing 50% of my asset that is holding my marriage together.

Can a provider become a SB? Well, probably only if she's a new provider and doesn't need the money. Just think about the $250 provider -- two appts a day, five days a week, 4 weeks a month = $10,000.00. I would never, and never have, paid a SB more than $2K a month, plus extras. And while a SB having a BF doesn't bother me, sharing SBs with other SDs does.
