Those in the know--usually safe bets--start off with their name, where they found me, handles, etc. Being in Tuscaloosa or any LE heavy area just doesn't lend itself to entertaining odd, already answered on profile, questions. I don't mind the work, but providers shouldn't have to pull every ounce of info out of a new client.
Trusting my instinct is a great thing, but losing business because of over sites in initial communication seems like a waste.

It is always better safe than sorry. In your area, there is no room for entertaining odd questions. There are too many risks with LE.
Even when I was a newbie, I took the time to find as much information before making first contact. I made mistakes asking questions that I should not have and missed out on meeting a few ladies. However, three years later I've learned to be more patient in my research. Glad I'm at a place where now my experience and board membership give me an advantage of references and written reviews.
