Stimulus Money Paying Workers To NOT WORK!

The LG plant in Holland, Michigan, was heralded in 2009 as the "direction" America is moving. They were to be building batteries for the . . . wait for it . . . CHEVY VOLT. He was right. This is the direction in which America is heading. They have received millions in stimulus funds, and have NOT PRODUCED A SINGLE BATTERY! Workers play cards, monopoly, read or clean up around the plant. It's still open, thanks to the government, but nothing is going on.

The CBO figures released Tuesday estimate that the stimulus package raised the gross domestic product this past quarter by 0.3 percent-1.9 percent.
The CBO report provided a broad range of the estimated number of full-time jobs created because of the stimulus — from a low of 500,000 to a high of 3.3 million jobs.

Some workers at the Holland plant have quit or are looking for jobs. Others have started helping local non-profits on company time.

So let me get this straight, these are people WITH JOBS, complaining about having a job and getting paid? Would they rather work at Sensata?

If the company needs to make some adjustments to how the money and resources are being used, then by all means that should be done. But if the main complaint here is that the stimulus is allowing these people to have jobs while Bain is replacing american workers with ones from China...well..come on.
