Football Season Predictions/Chiefs
Ok I am surprised no one has started a football forum, especially after the Chiefs got their butts kicked by Tampa Bay 25-0.
So who do you predict will go all the way?
How far do you think the Chiefs will go?
Do you agree with the personnel hired to help the Chiefs?
Or are you so pissed off at the greedy SOBs and their 4 month lockout that you don't give a crap about this season.

They will be lucky to go 8-8 with the schedule they have.

That's what I'm thinking as well.
They could very well be a better team than last year and still not make the playoffs.
But who knows...it's not who you play but when you play them. If they're lucky enough to catch a few teams when they're not playing their best it could be a better win/loss record than we think.

I was thinking 6-10 also, if they get lucky. Can't get very excited about the Chiefs or the NFL in general. Won't be getting any of my funds this year. Everyone I knew who had season tickets have given them up.

Oh come on you guys.. We are going to win every game and go to the super bowl...
Ok just wanted to act like a cowboy fan and say that.. we all know that, that is what they say every year... I dont know what it will be nor want to put up numbers just yet. Every team has had the same amount of time that we have and we could win more games or lose game. I hope I am wrong but there are alot of chances that ppl will be getting hurt and that can make or break certain teams.. Im going to wait to see how the last 3 preseason games go and then see where we are at!

Fortunes turn quickly in the NFL. An injury here or there, a few breaks either way and anything can happen. I will say 8-8, maybe they steal one or two and it could be 9-7, 10-6 with some luck. The offense should be much better and could keep things interesting until the defense gives it back late in the game.

id say anywhere between 6-10 and 8-8. we benefitted from an easy schedule last year as well as being pretty injury free. the way both our lines got shoved around by the chargers, raiders, and ravens is very worrisome. weve done nothing to improve either, save for kelly gregg, and were going to have trouble not just in the killer stretch but otherwise if we dont hold our own. i want to be optimistic but i see this year as a step back and then hopefully a few forward the next year.

What cracks me up, people are still interested in the chiefs, they're a losing team and have been for many, many years but like lemming's, people put on their little Chiefs sweatshirts on Sunday, post "Go CHIEFS" on message boards and come up with these complex analysis of a bunch of thugs running around on a field playing 'kill the man with the ball'...just like last year, they're going to lose.

They made the playoffs last year, yep they lost, but quite and accomplishment with a 2nd year coach and what I consider to be a below average receiving group. Your either a Raider fan or you don't like sports, or could never perform.

Knowing alot of football players I can tell you this, Most of them are not thugs. Just because you are jealous that they are getting paid millions of dollars to play the game they love while you sit at home and watch them doesnt mean you have the right to call them names!!!!
Win or lose I will show my support for the Chiefs.. And I wear a Jersey not a sweatshirt!!!!

I know KCBigPapa will say I'm kissing the Queen's ass (been there, done that, loved it!) but I like the Chiefs regardless. Besides, it helps me understand Cubs fans.
