I only stay at the Beau Rivage. Pleanty of other places, try tripadvisor. Good luck.

Imperial Palace is nice, and usually cheaper than the Beau. I like IP better as it has a few more free amenities than the Beau. I stayed at the Grand several years ago and it was also quite nice.
Of course, IP doesn't give you the view of the gulf that the Beau does, but it isn't a bad view.
There is a club, Chill, at the IP that is a lot of fun, although the one at the Beau is great too. They are close enough geographically that taxi isn't much (if one has a bit too much to drink - not that I'd know anything about that ;-) )

I have a nice little pool house you can stay in... that is, if you don't mind whips, chains and gags hanging on the walls. I'm sure we could work out some sort of arrangement...

In all seriousness, I would consider the IP over the Beau for one main reason. If you like to gamble a bit while you stay, their comps are much friendlier and easier to level up on. If you plan on making many repeat visits to the coast, good comps go a long way. The Beau is nicer, but being that it's South Mississippi, casino patrons tend to regress towards the mean... for every rich bloke with a wad of cash, there are 50 chain smokers with a pocket full of pennies. Yes, I'm an asshole.

P.S. - I was serious about the whips on the walls.

Good call. Unfortunately, my pocket book is also a limiting factor. Normally I do have spending limits, I just choose to ignore them when I see something I really like... as was the case when reviewing these showcases.
