Funny how we take different lessons from this, isn't it? For me, the lesson learned is that it's not a good time for anybody to be joking about unemployment. For W, the lesson is apparently that when your guy says something regrettable, you just ignore it and keep right on attacking the opponent.

He’s figured it out. If he takes a statement or some action made by the president and he misrepresents it or misstates it, we can call bullshit.

If he just makes something up, we can’t disprove a negative. Luckily, even though he figured out a way to bullshit, he doesn’t understand how our government works. He thinks the president carries a checkbook around to hand out billions of dollars on a whim. See that’s where links come it. You see them before you knock big chunks of your credibility away. As critical as I am of Wall Street, history has shown that their knowledge of finance and business can make them better statesmen than most other politicians.

Joseph Kennedy, Michael Bloomberg, Corzine and Christie illustrate this.

If the US doesn't get someone in who understands finance and is willing to act then we're all sunk.

Whatever favoritism they may want they have anyway so we might as well get the benefit of their knowledge as well and balance it out.

The people of New Jersey are not very happy with Gov. Christie.

He certainly understands Wall Street, and the people understand that he works for big business. The tollways are littered with anti-Christie billboards. They didn't care more for Corzine either, but I don't remember as much anger focused on him as I saw up there recently. They're ready to fry Christie's fat ass.

They thought his bullshit would be a shovel ready project. Probably should have been. And the people are holding his feet to the fire on it.

BTW -- folks up there don't know who Rick Perry is... at least the "lay" people I spoke with. But they're ALL ready to come down here for the Day of Prayer and Fasting!

1. How much was the stimulus package total?
2. How much of the stimulus package was actually tax cuts?
3. How much of the stimulus was actually allocated to "shovel ready projects"?
4. How much of the stimulus has been spent so far?
5. How much of the stimulus has been spent by predominately Republican states?
6. What have those predominiately Republican states spent that stimulus money on so far?
7. What is the total number of recipient reported jobs created since the stimulus was enacted?

I'll bet you $787 Billion that Romney has had his mittens on some of that stimulus cash at one time or another. I'm sure we'll hear all about his ability to borrow money at little or no interest due to the very stimulus plan he's campaigning against. I would even dare bet a portion of his campaign funds are a direct result of stimulus bill transactions he's made and taken advantage of.
