No matter one's political views, that is wrong. But let's not pretend that such harassment is one-sided. Either way, it is wrong.

"This Essay empirically evaluates the relationship between Donald Trump’s rise to power and the recent increase in reported hate crimes. A number of critics predicted that President Trump’s divisive rhetoric during the presidential campaign and his subsequent election would embolden hate crime perpetrators, thereby contributing to more hate crimes. Media commentators have dubbed this the Trump Effect.

We find compelling evidence to support the Trump Effect hypothesis. Using time series analysis, we show that Donald Trump’s election in November of 2016 was associated with a statistically significant surge in reported hate crimes across the United States, even when controlling for alternative explanations. Further, by using panel regression techniques, we show that counties that voted for President Trump by the widest margins in the presidential election also experienced the largest increases in reported hate crimes."

And this from a study done and reported on a few weeks ago:

"According to a new study reported by The Washington Post, counties that hosted political rallies with Donald Trump as the headliner in 2016 saw a 226 percent increase in hate crimes over comparable counties that did not host such a rally in subsequent months."

That's so much bullshit from lib-retard sources.

There's been reported a significant increase in hate crimes against Jews in New York, and, in almost every instance, the crime-scene videos show that the perps are black.

So, your bullshit notion that it's Trump supporters alone that are accountable for that increase is so much bull hockey!

Are trying to insinuate that none of these incidents would have occurred if we would have had a different president?

No, he's just trying to distract with very unscientific studies and a nebulous definition of hate crimes. It's easy to cherry pick certain instances and pretend to draw conclusions.

The instance in the OP is the discussion, the rest is noise to distract.

So we all agree it's bad right? Not to be justified with other actions?

Of course, it's wrong on both sides. But when was the last time you remember that people were accosted for wearing a baseball hat? What happened to free speech and express yourself?
Oh wait - it's only ok if the left approves of your message otherwise they will yell and scream at you.
Got it.

I love the way this video ends, "Nobody touched you, nobody touched you, nobody touched you, nobody touched you" ..... after this crazy person assaulted Zuniga and shoved her at least twice, maybe three times .....

That's what makes it even crazier! Who could possibly object to the message? Why would anyone NOT want to "make America great again"?

We're the melting pot, so if you make us great you are making all races, genders, and sexual orientations great. Yet deranged libtards go nuts and call this simple baseball hat with its anodyne message racist, sexist and homophobic!

They might as well be railing against baseball, motherhood and apple pie!

I am presenting another side to the "story". Take it for what it's worth. Reject it as liberal propaganda if you like. I certainly do not expect Trump supporters to support the allegations.

And as I said in my previous post, it's bad. Should not be done.

No. I clearly said it was wrong. No matter which side is doing it.
