I'll never understand this symptom of TDS. It's like, person A is someone you hate, and they steal 20 dollars from you. Person B is someone you like, and they steal 20 dollars from you. Then, you try to justify person B's behavior by saying person A did the same thing. The defense is to deflect and blame Trump, even if it doesn't make any sense to do so.
