Default Music

Hello Springfield and surrounding areaians...
LOL. I KNOW.... that’s not even a word.

I’m really into music. I know there was a thread on the the main page here.. but it was a little overwhelming for me.
While I have a large varied collection.. I’m always looking for new, maybe I haven’t heard. There’s so much out there.
I love most all music..
From 80’s when they made REAL music, even some techno, some county... (right now my fav county is Dicked down in Dallas... I know,
ironic.lol)
A little rap. Jazz, and alternative adult.
What’s on your playlist? Doesn’t have to be newly released. Please share.

Last time I spent my Saturday cleaning the house, Hank Jr, Waylon Jennings, CCR, Three Dog Night, even Rodger Miller help get me through. Anything older. Jonny Cash to Elvis. Even Dave Clark 5, Gary Louis. And got to throw in Johnny Rivers. Braysen, you probably dont know some of them.

I feel the same way, my Playlist makes people think I'm adhd or something, I used to say I like everything from Adam Ant to Frank Zappa and everything in-between. Literally from about every genre. And I hate when people ask about a favorite song because it has everything to do with the activity, frame of mind and mood I'm in.

Was going to Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison last year till the “rona stopped most events cold. Those three bands bring back the best of times…

Seen all those guys back in the day, I doubt Crue will be back (originals anyway) Vince is having a rough go.

I love most pop music prior to 1990, classical and old country. Don't like rap or new country. As far as recorded music, I went through vinyl, 8 tracks, cassettes, Cd's and now a pretty good selection of digital (mp3's).

Do you have vinyls now?
I’ve started collecting again. Found a place where I can buy some of the older ones for $6.
I also love 70’s and 80’s rock and funk.
