I've met several regular ladies on ThaiFriendly , thai woman seem to think most farangs are well off and tend to ask for help. Normally I will ask upfront if they are freelance or what do they expect from me.

LOL! That's my impression too, after having watched many YouTube videos.
The Vietnam scene takes Thailand as a role model. However, the ladies are more spontaneous and not as adept at plucking the Farangs! They'll catch up, no doubt!

In my experience, as Dark mentioned, on TF ask up front what they want, Long term relationship or P4P. Every city is a little different where I think BKK women posting seems to be 50/50 freelancers vs ones who want long term. Phuket seems to be 70% freelancers. Pattaya more like 75-80% freelancers and where I am in CM it drops to 15-20% freelancers. Other smaller cities drops significantly since ladies do not want friends, family, co workers know they are P4P. But here in LOS you just never know what may happen. Many are farang curious :-)

Within the first couple of exchanges will ask hat are you expecting, are you a freelance. It just much easier to now expectations up front and in Thailand, most woman have gotten that question before, and while your asking important questions it also good to ask gender up front in the land of smiles.

Most ladyboys are upfront but if you’re not sure Thailand puts birth sex is on govt ID cards so ask for it if your face to face. Also TF has a filter that only allows you to see lady’s but sometimes a lady boy will still put a profile in as a woman. Negotiate your terms and what you expect before the face to face why waist time. As of know I have to say I still have not ran into an unpleasant surprise, and I would like to keep it that way.
