Default Busted in KC?

Has anyone been busted in KC seeing a eccie verified provider? If the provider isn't a cop, is there any way the cops can justify coming into a home or hotel and arresting the provider or customer?

In not a lawyer, but I think your only risk.is if the girl is a cop or working with the cops.

Is there a reason you're asking?

Because I'd like some level of comfort that I won't get busted.

Unfortunately you wont get any of those assurances. I dont believe there are any real statistics on that either for ECCIE. There are risks with the hobby but if you use verified providers and do your homework and ask questions and get referrals from people who have a great track record...your risk is lower.
But there are no guarantees....if the risk is too high for you I might recommend a different hobby

Its happened where verified providers have been working with uc to arrest clients so if you dont know provider well there is always a risk. to be safe never mentions any fees or agree to anything that could be a verbal set up. Set your fee down and shut up dont even motion. with your nod or eyes. odds are if your being set up the scene is being recorded audio and visual.

Of course there will always be some risk, but I haven't seen any mention of it happening to anyone on eccie.

Do your research on any lady that you are hoping to visit with. If she has plenty of recent reviews and is a highly reputable provider than you should be safe. Beware of the ones who does not screen throughly, if she isn't screening you, she isn't screening the cop who will soon contact her either. Maverick knows what he is talking about. Never ever discuss rates or any certain activities either by phone or in person. And, if she doesn't ask for your references or other screening information, run.

Hugs,
Juliette

It has happened, but it's rare. The verified providers who worked with LE were caught up in things much more important to law enforcement than simple prostitution.

The truth of the matter is if you walk into a sting, you're going to get a ticket or arrested no matter how you handle money or what you say.

I'd put an asterisks on this. Will they come to your house? No. How could they. And they almost always prefer a sting.

But, this happened to me VERY recently. We all know that JoCo is dangerous and Lenexa is off limits. But I wasn't seeing an escort. I was seeing my girlfriend. I got a room on Priceline that had internet access so I could also work in between rounds because if was an daytime playtime. We got to the room separately and were inside minding our own business for several hours. We left the hotel to go grab a quick bite and came back to the room. We were there for just an hour or so and got a knock on the door. 3 of Lenexa's finest. 2 Males and a Female cop. They said they were "looking for signs of prostitution" and we "drew their attention". I can only guess that when we came back in, even though we used a side door, a 47 yo man and a 25 yo woman set off the alarm with the girl behind the desk (who was different than the guy I checked in with) and they called.

By the time they were at the door they already had my license and had run my car plates as well and pretty much demanded to be let in. And, before all of you armchair lawyers tell me the BS about "just say no and close the door", I can assure you, it doesn't work like that. The hotel manager was there basically saying "cooperate or leave. we don't want any trouble". And the would have just waited around the corner and pulled us over. After all, they already knew my name!

Now, in this instance she is not, was not, has never been nor will ever BE an escort/hooker/prostitute. She's a college girl. There was no money exchanged. At all. But they searched every inch of the hotel, my bag, us, our vehicles, etc. They commented on the lack of a suitcase, etc. They (actually the female cop) pulled her aside and tried to get my GF to admit that she'd been paid or coerced to be there. They counted her money (she had like $20 on her). You actually should have seen the look on their face when they realized we'd been there for 9 hours and she only had $20 on her. The only thing funnier was when they searched my car and reached in my gym bag to pull out a 1 gallon zip lock back of a brick of a white, powdery substance......GYM CHALK!!! BUt that cop almost jizzed in his pants at first. I had a hard time not laughing outloud.

Anyway. It was a MAJOR inconvenience. It wasted a lot of our time and truly scared the shit out of my GF. Not a pleasant experience AT ALL. I knew not to see an escort there, but never in my wildest dreams did I think they'd knock on my door. Obviously I wasn't in "hobby mode". Just playtime mode. But that could have been a disaster for anyone that does have legal issues or possessed something other than gym chalk.

Sens55, it's a shame you had to go through that, but at the same time, I think it's awesome that you were pretty much able to rub their nose in their fuck up. It's ridiculous LE can get away with basically harassing someone, like they did you. Don't they have better things to do with their time besides harass innocent people? LE, if you're reading this, remember, your job is to "Protect and Serve," not harass. I wonder how many real crimes were being committed while these three "finest" were harassing you?

Default Even if innocent you may give some information that the police can use against you.

No it does not work like that! There is a lot of pressure for one to comply with whatever they want.

This YouTube 48 minute movie has been referred to here on ECCIE several times. I bring it out and watch the law school professor, and former criminal defense attorney give his lector on talking to the police.

It is recommended for everyone who participates in the hobby.

Now, for my input. My first wife (God Rest her soul) brothers, father, and several other relatives were police officers. Can you believe my input that they intentionally planted evidence during a car stop. They can't do that if they didn't get in your car. Don't give them permission. You don't have too.

Please watch the movie.

Sens, that's a good story, but I don't see the connection. The OP was asking about verified providers flipping in clients. Are you suggesting someone flipped on you?

Kaos, sens response is relevent because the op asked if cops can walk in on two people not working for/with them. She says it happened. I believe a good lawyer would love to take the case if they do. I also wonder if in her story she would have been better off not answering the door at all.
