Default When a "john" gets popped....

If you are a PB (pussy buyer), trick, john or whatever you prefer to call yourself, how would you protect the community should you get popped and LE is putting the "squeeze" on you?

STFU. Ask to speak to an attorney. Call and retain an attorney who specializes in criminal defense work.

Most important: invoke your right to silence and exercise it. No statements, no interview.

This is the best thing you can do for yourself.

Fully agree with you admiral on the upfront things to do. What about secondary actions to protect the community? Do you let everyone know how you got popped? Basically, getting the facts out so you can alert people about the who, what, when of the entrapment. For example, a known provider has turned informant or a new ad on BP you couldn't resist . You were the first unfortunate victim, but now they got you fair and square. How do you keep the community from following in your footsteps.

Nash - it seems for most PBs there are two communities that would be concern worthy: the one they live in, and the one they play in. I agree with The Admiral - shut up and get a good attorney. That said, if they have the guy dead to rights and they're offering no prosse in exchange for info I have to believe most guys - and gals for that matter - would opt to protect the community they live in vs play in. This may not be want we want to hear, but I think it's the truth. This brings me back to my first thought - get an attorney and STFU.

Provider turned informant - hell yeah tell everybody! Fake BP ad?...I always said to avoid BP...yeap let the community know.

So, I'm hoping this is all hypothetical

Totally hypothetical. I feel like it would be my duty to alert the community about the situation. I'd probably back channel someone such as yourself to help spread the facts about the situation if I couldn't do it myself (if LE would through obstruction into the situation). Guess my hatred towards government shines through.

Since a number of "johns" have been busted since this latest LE crusade that started a few months ago, I can't believe that someone hasn't alerted the community about the facts, other than newspaper articles after the busts. No one has pointed out the ads that drew them in or given the names of the providers who were working with LE. Basically the who, what, when, where. Puzzles the shit out of me!

Agreed Nash. As a member on here, I would feel that at least a PM to someone with specific details would help out the community. Hoping that day never happens to any of us!

Most Mr Johnsons aren't half as security conscious as they think. They see some new face on NNL with 2 of their crappy reviews and they think it means the girls are legit. I made similar assumptions back in the day and was just damned lucky. One of the reasons I find value in this board is because experience is a great teacher...and the experience doesn't necessarily have to be mine

You do have to be careful about obstruction of justice, though I think it is highly unlikely if you quietly inform a few friends (who loudly inform the community ) that you would get in any trouble.

Again, I think LE is genuinely interested in underage sex workers, human trafficking, guns and drugs. It's pretty unlikely they want you to "rat out" your local escort. Thankfully.

Gents: unless you like adventure, stick with verified providers.

Its been proven that "Johns" have rolled more than providers. There's been a few posts about it in the KC forums.

"johns" have more to lose usually than the providers do, so the scare tactic usually works on the "johns."

As its been stated before, keep your mouth shut and ask to speak with your attorney.

I said this in the provider popped thread.......we all should know by now that we should expect problems to arise in this business that is illegal. If you get made because LE is doing their job, then maybe this hobby isn't for you.

It's very hard to prove anything illegal unless one of the two talks. Lawyer up!

Don't know many lawyers around here, any suggestions on who to call 'if' you get popped?

Never rat on your friends, and always keep your mouth shut. Goodfellas

I suspect most of the johns that get busted in stings are not doing the same homework as eccie members.
