It never fails.....When will we learn
After browsing alerts and seeing rip off reviews from both hobbyist and providers...it makes you wonder when will we learn. Hobbyist complain about BP girls being real or fake. I advertise on BP due to the fact some cities aren't eccie or p411 friendly. Isn't that why we have sites like this to prevent that type of thing from happening? Also about some of us Verified providers providing poor service. Sometimes it wouldn't hurt to do your homework. It's sad that some providers use sites to fix their drug habit and ruin it for the good ones! Don't ask me where I am going with this....lol. I guess I am just trying to figure out what's going wrong.

I don't know. I am a New Orleans native, since 1988, but now live in Texas since Katrina, and I feel just like you do. I have never, and will never rip anyone off for anything. If you call me for a service I will provide you with the services you requested. I don't do nor have ever been a druggie, I pride myself on being an elite independent provider. But I say all that to say I feel ya on your statement girlfriend!!

It is what it is. The hobby, especially in the universe of BackPage, is wild and untamed like the American west used to be. BP is just a jungle. Now - in a jungle, you have butterflies and cute little rabbits and those animals enrich your experience and make you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside ...
But, also in the jungle - there's TIGERS, and SNAKES, and various sundry CHUPACABRA! And they make a lot of people not want to step foot into the jungle. Some people are brave though - and go in that jungle to find the bunnies and the butterflies - I'm not one of them ... I like to laugh when they come running out of the jungle with a piece of their trousers missing!!!
Occasionally they come out of the jungle with tales of finding a bunny ... or a butterfly ... or both. And we all think ... "THAT GUY IS BRAVE!!" We are truly suprised and that is how we should be! Your odds are not good in the jungle ... LOL!!
Don't sweat this - there's nothing anyone could do anyway.

I have noticed in the short time I have been in the hobby that the hobby, even on here, is not what it used to be. Gone are simple manners and common courtesy and professionalism. There is no one person, or sex, to blame for this. But for me, I will continue to use the manners I was taught and that have served me well in my lifetime. The cream always rises to the top, providers and hobbyists alike.

When will we learn?
[QUOTE=Nakia] After browsing alerts and seeing rip off reviews from both hobbyist and providers...it makes you wonder when will we learn.
This may not be verbatim, but Albert Einstein once said "During my life, I've found two things to be absolutely without limits - the universe and human stupidity . . . . and I'm not so sure about the universe."
How true, huh?
He is also credited with having said "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results."
Does this sound like anyone you know???
Among his other considerable talents, the man was a true student of human behavior, and had a terrific sense of humor.

Yes this is true Nakia. I have notice the same thing you are talking about. I came here to visit and it has been a bit tough. I guess because some hobbyist feel unsafe seeing new girls. I have heard so many things about Nola I had to come see for myself. I really hope this trip was worth it. Maybe we can meet up for lunch or something. Be safe XoXo

I've advertised on BP and while it's kind of like browsing through a second hand shop looking for a vintage find occasionally there is that hidden treasure for a minor advertising cost and I've also encouraged those who seem decent to join sites like this and get established and some have turned out to be really decent even if the process of getting established was not so easy. And personally as bit of a Lioness myself and a little deer as well I like the jungle and I wouldn't toss out a tiger out of my bedroom! ~wink~
Adoringly,
Christa

CC - the only way I'd ever use BackPage is in conjunction with ECCIE or TER.
I'll give you an example - I travel to New England occasionally and if you browse the showcases for that area you will find that ECCIE ladies are all over the board and will advertise that they're available in just about every state in New England - but you know that's not true because they can't be all places at one time.
So I suppose I would go to something like BP for the specific area I'm visiting to look for a girl - but I would also be looking for one that crosschecks to ECCIE and / or TER also.
