Safety and screening
I'm quite curious to know why a lot of gentleman are opposed to providing screening information and provider references?

References require record keeping, I am like the tooth fairy, get in get out and leave a little cash to remember me by.

I'm not opposed to it But i take the reason is because if you look at your two main Pittsburgh provider review sites, you will see one site is very biased and the other is run more truthful. Look at the girls that are providers on both sites and then read pittsburgh eccie independent reviews. Alot of girls reviewed are not listed on as providers on these review sites and won't have the same number or remember they have even seen you after their day is over. Referral? I can't even get any indy girls to vouche me or update me over the past year because they either forget and can't remember your handle or they are red squared and can't vouche for you. They even took a vouche away because the girl seen passed? So the answer is lack of quality referrals. Look at a eccie members reviews and posts that's your referral.

I value discretion. The less a provider knows about me and my hobbying history, the better. I can see plenty of fun providers with just a phone and some generosity - where's the motivation to work any harder?

Giving my real name or work info to an escort is stupid. Will you give me your real name and personal info? If you want my cash and I want your ass I guess there must be some level of trust. Contact my previous ladies if you want, but that's all you'll get out of me.

Maybe turn the table and ask them for names and numbers of who they have seen...
That would be good for a laugh.

never have given any of these women anything except the cash on the counter.
no need to do anything else. I would never trust any of the women with any info that could lead to me. if they get busted and your info is on their phone, thats a risk no one wants

Provider references are fine, but I'm not sure if you're going to get most providers to respond. I have a hard time getting most to respond to appointment requests. As for any personal information, that's just not going to happen. I've had hundreds of successful appointments over the years and never shared a shred of personal information with a single provider. How does having someone's personal information make you safer?

Well giving a provider reference is one thing.
Providing personal info is not going to happen from me . I would never give it up . I don't need to do it and won't.
I have always said if a girl wants to make money by meeting guys she runs the risk of getting caught and by the way so do we. When we see a provider without seeing reviews on her.
I feel for you and understand you want to be safe but I don't want my info in a providers hands nothing good can come from it.

Because my information is more valuable than anything else which will be exchanged during the encounter.
And it doesn't make anyone involved any safer.
Like Stig said: I've had dozens, if not hundred, of successful encounters without providing any real information to a provider. I'm sure not planning on starting soon.

I screen every client who is new to me.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
The HUGE difference is in how I do it though.
1. The "established" hobbyist with a noticeable online presence makes it much easier to do. I still ask for some info though.
2.The average hobbyist who "gets around" is still easier but requires some references and some information.
It is possible to screen someone without getting too nebby or personal about it. I don't ask gents 1 or 2 a last name, and I don't think I've ever asked someone where they work. I've found that is worthless and not what I need.
Some others still do though.
The newbie however,
these gentlemen who are New to this should expect to be asked some information about themselves,
Just as we are expected to put up information on sites describing ourselves, where we're usually to be found, age, weight, Bra size, etc', etc.,
Hell, some of you guys have admitted you won't see a gal without a face pic. ?
A lot of gentlemen no longer want to be screened at all because quite frankly they don't need to be.
But then some of the ladies around nowadays don't ask.
Of course some of these ladies are usually off on 4-6 month vacations at random/couple times a year.

Not so long ago, it wasn't such a big deal to have certain pieces of information about you out there. But in the age of identity theft, online ransoms, blackmail and other criminal activities rooted in exploiting personal information, its more important than ever to protect ones private information. Expecting someone to offer up private information is just crazy. There has to be a better way.
I've asked this question many times and no one has ever answered it. How does knowing someone's real name, employer or anything else make you safe? The only thing it might give you is a means of possible redress in the event the appointment goes awry. Or something a bit more nefarious?

I agree. Provider references are fine and reliable providers usually respond back to an inquiry. That's all you should need.
However, I also don't understand how personal information given to someone you've never seen before increases the illusion of safety between provider and hobbyist. If anything, it simply gives an unknown individual personal information to use against you and hold over your head (i.e dames4u). For the record, I never gave him any personal information either

This is why there is P411. I have 17 oks there, I have never had a girl ask for anything additional who was a member there. And the ones who arent I tell them to pony up and join themselves.
Like Stig I dont give out personal info, my P411 is fake info. My name is AG and I have cash. Asking for anything more than references is just being difficult. If a monger for example worked at Burger King, I am sure his manager would vouch that he was a great onion ring cooker
