Ford relocating production to Mexico now that Trump Tariff threat gone
Seems now that with Trump no longer around to threaten auto manufacturers with tariffs for outsourcing jobs, Ford is reneging on their deal with the UAW to keep jobs in Ohio, and is instead moving operations to Mexico.
I dunno about y'all, but I kinda miss "America First"
You expected different? biden’s entire career was about getting himself and his family rich, and he did a good job. Of course he’s not going to set policy that makes sense for Americans. To be fair he has no capacity to make decisions and can’t really be held responsible, that goes to whoever is actually running the country, likely a combination of Soros and Xi.
It is not the government's job to dictate from which country we buy our cars.....or goods!
I'm inclined to agree! However, I'm disinclined to allow companies that claim to be domestic, and reap the benefits of being domestic , to also reap the benefits of outsourcing labor, manufacturing, or production to reduce your costs.

Nah, the goal is to move all manufacturing outside the country, force a $15/20hr wage to companies so they can't afford to hire citizens, destroy the middle class, and then flood the market with illegal immigrants who can work for a slave wage off the books.
The same party that supported negro slavery for the sake of profit simply changed the rules of the game. Now the slave is any minority in any country who seeks to be exploited either here or there, in the shadows, for the sake of American profit, and all of it shoved down your gullet with a spoonful of sugar that they're "improving these peoples' lives" or "giving them opportunity they were never afforded".
It's straight out of Kipling's "The White Man's Burden" - The empire quiet's it's guilty conscience by telling itself that it's bringing the light of civilization to all corners of the earth, not for it's own profit.
I’ve gotta agree. The only vehicles worth a damn are built by Honda and Toyota, or their luxury divisions of Acura and Lexus. They’re a bit more expensive than American counterparts, but the expense is easily made up for by lower repair costs and higher resale value.
It wouldn't be that much. Tariffs would mostly be offset by lower costs of production. There is already a 25% tariff on imports, that only raises prices by 5000 per 20000.
And who is to say these vehicles would all be imported to the US?
I remember all the bitching and moaning about the new Ford plant investment/expansion in South Africa. None of those vehicles would ever see the US shores. Ford has 65 vehicle plants all over the world.
These business moves are way over most peoples heads, especially trumptards.
