It's been slow. There's a thread in the tech forum you might want to check out, seems folks reporting different things and finding different methods.

surely there's a tech person who can figure this out. Changing browsers is NOT the answer.

The internet is made up of multiple networks comprised of switching gear, routers, etc...
each time you request a web page, it has to contact a DNS server, find out where it is hosted, then plot the route to it.. sometimes a "HOP" on the route is congested, aka traffic is slowed down. Your request will be delayed as will the loading of the page you requested.

Some sites can be as far away as 30 hops... and get this.. the route your traffic takes can cross the country and back....

So if a download is taking longer... big whoop
