I just recently went to The Wild Detective for the first time... Very cool place... Nice vibe...

Try The Crooked Tree in Uptown... Great place... Live music on the weekend...

There's a neat coffee shop with a big roaster in Carrollton.

My personal favorites are the bakery on lower Greenville, and White rock Coffee Shop in NWHiway.

Try some Ethiopian Harrah coffee sometime. It's like the Grey Goose of coffees. P_V

Next week, come hell or high water, I'm getting out and driving to Oak Cliff and visiting that bookstore. Plus, there is a Lucky Dog Bookstore on Jefferson that I've never been to.

I've frequented the location in Dallas for decades but would like to see the one in your area.
