Taxes+Hobby
I have been in the XXX hobby for around a year now, and I am trying to gather information about what and how to file my tax return.
I actually have a lot of questions regarding this.....................if you think you can provide information and answer questions I might have please PM me
Not sure if this belongs in Coed or Requests and ISOs

Interesting - guess uncle Sam will be wanting his cut.
Wonder if Social Security has this covered. Must be since it's legal in Las Vegas but what about independents outside of Nevada?

Ask the girls.
I know one in the past that was on the up and up with Uncle Sugar.
*I* think Jez claims with her taxes (forgive me if i'm wrong.)
But I know i've read that a couple of Providers do report their incomes here (their words.)

Seems like you could list your occupation as "therapist", or "masseuse", or some such. Even "exotic dancer"...you don't need a club.

The Bear's ATF has had a business account for an entertainment business for years. Models for shows and associated entertainment.
The quickest way to a bust is to get uncle sugars attention by not paying your dues.
Wasnt tax evasion that got Al Capone nabbed?
The Bear ;-)

.....and we have personal trainers, personal buyers, lawn and pool maintenance, child/adult care providers, house cleaners, decorators, vehicle detailers, drivers, messengers, product evaluators and all kinds of neat things related to the service industry
Capone suffered mental and physical deterioration due to late-stage neurosyphilis and "forgot" to pay his taxes (five different times)-hehehe

The job descriptions I like best that I've heard Providers use are
- Meeting Planner/Coordinator
- Event Planner/Coordinator

How refreshing! I don't think there is any problem with reporting your income and paying your taxes even using escort as an occupation. IRS doesn't care what you do. They may have a problem that you did not pay quarterly estimated taxes but that only means a penalty. The problem generally is that most ladies don't care to share with Uncle.

Karla sounds like Alisha, along with others suggestions, hold the answers you are seeking. Now if I could only find a way to deduct my contributions to the hobby as a legitimate expense. Many of us would be filing ammended returns for past yeras.

If nothing else, I think Form 1040, Schedule C, Profit or Loss From Business, would work. Listing the business as event or meeting coordinator works; although I have heard of a guy who was a drug dealer who wrote that on the form, paid taxes on his sales and IRS did not care.. But I wouldn't press my luck there..
On Part II of Sched C, you can also deduct your business expenses: travel, etc.
Self employment taxes can be calculated on Form 1040, Schedule SE.

That's it in a nutshell....you're one smart man
I'll gladly tell you privately what you can get away with deducting, etc.
