Taking a sweetie to Mexico. Pitfalls to avoid?

Greetings,

I might be in a position to take a honey with me to Mexico my next trip. The thing is: I'm married (but once again traveling by myself) so I still have to consider whatever "paper trail trip-ups" might be out there that I need to be aware of. I like old Mexico while wife doesn't. So I have been going by myself the past few years. Seems easy enough in that situation to be able to simply position a honey in the airplane seat and hotel bed next to me.

Booking the hotel room should be no trouble that I can see. So I don't change the default online 2 occupancy and then just charge my card (or pay cash later) as usual. I sign in at the desk and that's that.

Booking the flights might require a little more thought, however. One idea is that I book my own ticket as usual and give her the money to book hers. Keep things totally separate, which is attractive. But I lose control if the trip is scrubbed or something goes south between us. Alternatively, I can book my flight as usual. Then can can I book a separate ticket for her in her name with all her name and info and I charge it to my card? Does that give me the control and make me the "owner" of that ticket if I need to cancel it for the future e-credit or refund?

Any other thoughts / considerations from bro's in the know are appreciated.

Yes, do it all online and be sure to get a fully refundable ticket (will be a little more expensive) & get the confirmation info sent to you. That way if you decide to cancel the credit will go back to your card and not some bullshit voucher.

Sorry to have to say this but you're a dope. I'm NOT going to a Gringo ENGLISH ONLY, American cheeseburger, little umbrella cocktail drink American resort where people like you can't even say, "Hola! Buenos dias!" and the bartenders screw their customers. I'm going to old Mexico where I can hone my Spanish and the locals are loving and inviting.

I go to Mexico all the time. Never have had any problems with criminals, cartel, gangs or even law enforcement. Tijuana, Cancun, Mexico City, Monterrey, Merida, Cabo. Just know a little Spanish and act like you know what you’re doing and not a tourist. Prostitution is legal, girls are beautiful, plentiful and submissive, for less than a third the price of US tattooed, fat, entitled escorts. Mileroticos.mx is a reliable guide in any city. I just can’t understand why anyone would take a girlfriend with them. I’ve only been going for three or four years and I have girlfriends in every city I named above.

Do you live within 90 minutes of the border? Do the number of US Citizens kidnapped / murdered make your local news?


If you know the places you describe, why don't you take that knowledge and educate the rest of the community here? (Contribute versus troll.)

Not married, but I have done it a couple of times. Get a reloadable visa card from walmart for all your transactions...no paper trails to your home just a online account to check your card info. Just bang hoz from Mexico. Alot have accounts on twitter and OF..holy shit they are hotter than some of the USA hoz. CDMX has alot of them. I love it there!

Why do so many feel the need to label all the ladies into the same bucket, (US tattoed, fat, and entitled escorts)? Maybe you should choose better? As far as the cost of playtime, its driven by market. Decide what works for you in your budget. Not something you should blame on the ladies given you choose who you see.
