Default Anybody else been stood up by Arial?

I've felt very fortunate not to have ever been stood-up, well maybe it was luck that ran out.

Anybody else been stood-up by Arial? I called, she confirmed, asked for references, set up meeting time... got there and she didn't answer the phone.

I was wondering if this is a common theme with her? Should I try to book another appt? Things happen, we all get busy... I want to see her, so I guess I wanted to ask the group should I reattempt or punt.

Same thing happended to me about a week ago. Called with references, got to the checkin point, called for final directions and no answer. Better providers in town to get left hanging a second time.

You are right. Who is to say, she will answer the phone next time around and give you directions to some where she is not. Looks to me she likes to play games. I am done with her....

i am extremely sorry to anyone whose time and energy was wasted in a failed attempt to come see me.
things happen, though i know that does not excuse or make up for anything.

this is not an often occurance with me, i have many friends and fans, but it is bound to happen sometimes.

i would LOVE a second chance, but understand if not.

take care, be safe, and HAVE FUN in all ventures.

love, arial

I didn't get a chance to reply yesterday... I called you back, made another appointment, and you were on time and everything was as scheduled.

Arial,

Thanks for posting here.

The key is to communicate at the time something comes up. Or as soon as possible afterward. Even if you've made a decision not to see someone, tell them that so they're not left wondering what happened. You are not required to give a reason. Just say that you don't feel comfortable.

I called a lady and she agreed to meet me. Then (I found out later) she couldn't contact my references so she decided to just not answer my calls. I tried to see her traveling companion that same night. She also could not contact my references because it was too late at night. But she took a minute to call and tell me that. It made all the difference.

I would never call the first lady again and I will tell others what happened. I would see the second lady (once she confirmed my references) because she treated me with respect. And my review of her reflected that. Most hobbyists would not hesitate to see her and some would be more likely to see her because she demonstrated respect for a client.

Every hobbyist has heard some pretty lame excuses for times those that a lady has overbooked and is trying to delay your arrival. Although that is not good, it is far worse for a lady to agree to meet and then after you drive to her area, she just goes quiet (UTR) and won't answer the phone.

Sometimes things do come up and a lady will apologize and often will go "above the call of duty" in some way. It is the same as any business owner will do for a customer who has a valid concern. It is not required, but it does show respect and that causes people to have more respect for you as well.

Again thanks for posting. And you're cute!

Arial, I absolutely agree with BiggestBest.

I am pleased to see you post in the manner in which you did, instead of becoming defensive. You owned up to some prior bad decisions which I find commendable. If it is ever an issue of contacting references, I would let the hobbyist know upfront that the date is contingent on you reaching their referrals.

Arial I agree also. It takes a real honest person to admit when they are wrong. I would love to see you. We have talked a couple times on phone hope to meet you soon. And stay in KC for a while now and keep doing those amazing things to your cute sexy hair!

samot there is a rule against posting to threads that have been dormant for over 30 days. Please be more careful in the future.
