I don't mean to sound like a prude, but WTH?

Maybe times have changed or perhaps I'm just a prude. But help me out here.

I click on ladies profiles from time to time when they post, or look at their avatar or pics that they attach. There are some hot ass chicks on this board. But what in the hell is with all the camera phone pics in the bathroom? Is it just me, or does it also bother you to see some hot chicks ass but at second glance you see the toilet in the picture? Or a full trash can? Or a roll of toilet paper?

There are sooooo many of these pics nowadays. I don't get it. It's "ok" to take camera phone pics. But why not get a girlfriend or somebody to take the pic with the camera phone instead of plopping up on the bathroom counter and taking a picture of you in the mirror of you taking the picture? I'm obviously not a guy so maybe it doesn't bother some of you. But I just don't get it.

it's a mid-teen to early 20something girly thing. seems to fade around age 21 or so on average. i took a couple of pics with my phone in the bathroom in that fashion as a parody of some of the young servers that work at some of my sportsbar haunts. they didn't think i would do it but i posted them on my facebook. it was a big hit. mom was a bit confused by it all i expect. poor mom

1. The girls might not have a friend they care to let know this is the way they make money.

2. Cam phone pics in a mirror are the rage among younger people these days. Seems they have an ability to know how to do it and if you recall the recent threads about web sites devoted to cam phone pics, escorts are not the only ones doing it.

3. Pretty hard to photoshop a cam phone pic and not make it obvious.

4. With all the creepers out there with a digital camera and actually zero skills trying to trade 2-4 full hour sessions for a crappy set of photos, I'd rather see cam phone pics over some air brush nightmare from some guys and the girls get tired of the creepers blowing up their phones telling them how their business will increase if they just let them take the photos (oh and then there's the ownership issue, some guys take the photos and keep them forever on web sites even if the girl retires or in some cases, has died!)

5. yes the cluttered or messy bathrooms are the worst. But for many girls, the only large mirror they have access to shoot in front of is in a hotel that they are living in and as cluttered as their incall happens to be so might their lives.

Umm they don't have to tell their friends that is what the pic is for. Get a cheap 40 dollar digital camera that has a timer on it for crying out loud. Some phones have it too. It's not THAT difficult.

Short answer - Times have definitely changed. Not too long ago any pic taken on a phone was stuck in mobile land unless you found the relative of the guy who knew where to get the cables, adapters, software, PC and a partridge in a pear tree to get them headed to the internet. Now? I can take a pic and have it up faster than I can decide whether or not it would really be a good idea to do so.

It's annoying. But I don't guess I'll walk away from anyone who doesn't look like their pic when they actually have a face and not just hair on top of a flash.

Thank you to those who invest more time and effort to get good quality pics up.

Not sure why, maybe its to avoid "Is that really you in the pic"......but that doesn't work because people still those pics to.

Maybe the toilet adds a nice touch.......letting the gent know they pee afterward.

I love camera pics with the men aftershave, deodorant and boxers around the sink.....those are a riot........somebody should have told the girl to hide it.

I kinda like some of them, as long as the mirror is not all dirty, and the girl isn't overly made up. I think as long as the phone takes a decent picture, that its a better representation of who You wii end up seeing.
I trust them more than the high dollar airbrushed ones...

lol personally i dont have anyone to take my pic im kind of a loaner but i have some new ones on the way soon ive taken some bathroom pics shame on me i know but after i saw this pic of a girl it made me vow to never take a bathroom pic again

another problem is that a lot of people are not aware of exif data.

taking pictures with your smartphone?

depending on where you upload your picture, you need to understand that GPS data giving your exact coordinates, are possibly embedded in your pictures. some sites strip this out - some girls make edits to the photos that strip it out as well, however if you are taking pictures with your smartphone, please avoid taking pictures from home at the least.

im not going to play tech support on this, but if you use your phone for your pictures, at least resize them using a pc program - those types of edits usually strip out the exif data.
