Default AFC Predictions

Will the Steelers make it? Does Brady have one final hurrah left in him? (Will Andy be Andy and pull the Chiefs through the playsoffs for a HUGE upset?)

Lets face it the AFC is such a let down this year. Here is my take.
Patriots are top dog. I like the Steelers but I just dont think they have enough to upset the New England.

NFC
Eagles
Rams
Saints
Vikings

All those teams are playing some good ball.
I feel the nfc championship will be Saints vs Eagles.

Agreed. Steelers will fall flat (again) in Foxboro come AFC Championship time (if they even make it that far). Big Ben's simply not playing well enuff this season to outduel Brady should it come down to that. On the other side of the ledger.....

The NFC is chock full of really good teams right now. The playoff teams in that conference look like this:

Vikings
Eagles
Saints
Rams
Seahawks
Panthers

The Eagles @ Rams contest this weekend will go a long ways deciding final seeding. Saints @ Falcons will be interesting, as well. Vikes @ Carolina....BIG for both teams. And in inter-conference play (Seattle @ JAX) looms big, also.

Lotsa football left....too early to call it IMO. Right now, the 8-wins in a row Vikings are on a mission...home-field throughout the playoffs. Oh, by the way....isn't the Super Bowl being played at their stadium this year....?

That will be the first time in history that a teams plated the sb in their own stadium.

Why can't anyone beat the Patriots?

They have been in 8 Super Bowl since 1997.

They are like the Alabama or Allen H.S. of the NFL. I HATE THEM! lol. I do like Gronk though!

Two things....🏈🏈🏈
1) DAYUMMM Steelers fans are mean to their own.
#ruthless
2) Jacksonville can be as excited as they want, but they ain't beating the Cheatriots...EVERYBODY knows this.

In 40 years of watching NFL football, I have never seen a game finish like the Minnesota vs. New Orleans NFC Divisional playoff game ended tonight! Amazing how Minnesota was able to score a 61 yard pass TD with less than 10 seconds left in regulation and New Orleans was up by 1 point and it looked like they (New Orleans) have won the game. It's truly not over until it's over!

that was amazing.. I turned it on at the end of the half, and saw 17-0 Vikings.. turned it off until 10+ minutes were left, score was 20-14 Vikings.. I watched the rest.. 4 lead changes in the final 181 seconds! that final pass play made the Cowboys' 1975 Hail Mary look like a screen pass, LOL

Looks like Patriots at Vikings for superbowl.

I’m rooting for the lesser of all evils. Go vikes.

So glad to see the saints get beat. They were too cocky. The way they got beat was even better. The defender just had to tackle the guy and the game was over.

Vikings have a tough decision in the offseason. Do you pay an average QB top dollar money or do you Trent dilfer him.

Think about it. If it does end up being Patriots v. Vikings we would have a 6th round QB v. an undrafted QB.

What are the chances of the Jaguars upsetting the Pats?

The same chance that the titans had. It's all about matchups. Jags could not do squat against the bills last week but they put up 45 points against the steelers this week. Pit has no pass rush, Lbs aren't that good and secondary is trash. The Steelers arrogance and bravado is what did them in especially Mike Tomlin who had one of the worst coaching performances I've ever seen. They made Jags offense look like a top 10 offense. Brady will kill them with the short passing game and the defense will take away Fourneete like they did with Derrick Henry and make Brotles beat them. 27-13 pats.

What has the league office concerned (and television in particular) that it ends up being Minnesota vs Jacksonville. Think about that for a second....

......how does NBC's crack marketing team promote a potential matchup between qb's Case Keenum and Blake Bortles? Doesn't exactly ring of those highly anticipated Tom Brady-Peyton Manning matchups we enjoyed for so many years, does it?

Worse than that perhaps would be that said contest bogs down and becomes a mirror of Wild Card weekend's Jags-Bills defensive 10-3 battle? Should that occur, the results could be a ratings nightmare once the dust settles....

"Ms Pelosi, what do you have to say about this possibility...uhmmm, Nancy, care to comment....?"
