Changing my name ...
When I first opened my acct on Eccie, I didn't really take the time to name myself. I pretty much just spinned my real name and threw in a matching last name.
Well now that I've been in the hobby and and an Eccie member for 3 mos, I'm learning there are way too many Alex's, Alexa's, Alexia's, Alexis's, Alexie's, Lexie.. Etc. Not to forget to mention all the variations on Amor. Furthermore, there is a porn star with the name Lexie Amore and this is causing much confusion.
I have established a personality as well as some reviews and really don't want to lose that but I'd like to change my name.
Since I'm only 3 mos in, is this something that will be easy? Will it cause even more confusion?
I've picked out a name that is neither common nor taken, and I'd love to hear your thoughts and the best way to transition into my new name. Thank u!

I think the name is fine. I doubt a name being novel is important. Well, I take that back-- if it serves to help you feel more comfortable then it does serve a purpose.

Actually, JD--by the way I love your avatar--having a commonplace name can cause confusion. I've noticed more than once us guys will be talking and someone will say, for example, "Mary is the hottest lay in town," assuming we all know which Mary he's referring to. So I go to "Search Providers" and type in "Mary". Eccie then tries to populate the field with "Mary Ann," "Mary Boobie," "Mary Christmas," "Mary Desiree," well you get the idea. Now in Alexie's case she does have "Amor" for her last name, hence beginning with "A" would be towards the top of the list. Nevertheless, I think a distinctive name helps. Robyn Rylie Sin is on the right track with a long complicated name, although I just typed "Robin" and her name didn't come up because of the misspelling. I think Alexie is doing the right thing by giving it at least a little thought. "Your Dirty Little Secret" was good. Folks called her "YLDS" and everyone knew who you were talking about.

With only 4 reviews and three months in, unless you have alerts (I don't see any), then I think it's fine. With your looks I don't think it matters. I'm actually surprised there aren't more reviews of you considering that you're new and seem to be a knockout...
So imho this would be a good time change your name before you get a lot of reviews.
Didn't you have a website as Lexie Amor though? Why not just stick with that?

Thank you for the compliments hot nurse!
I ask my clients not to leave reviews because I like to keep what happens BCD between us. The few I've allowed were so that I have at least some so that prospective clients get an idea of me and the services that I do and don't provide. The good thing about my website is that the domain name can be changed at anytime. So I'd just have to update all my profiles.

With the exception of plax, you're reviews are by guys who have only reviewed you or one or two others. I'd suggest deciding on a name change or not, sticking to it and getting a few reviews from established hobbyists.

Yes I've experienced this and have on ocassion received inquiries regarding activities that I don't provide that they said they saw in my reviews. None of reviews described the activities they were speaking of. They were trying to reach another Alexie or name similar.

I changed my name after seeing there was an alert posted about a guy with the same nickname who went around robbing people and I didn't want anyone to think I was connected to him in any way. One good thing about the name change is that your older reviews will still show your old name so you won't lose your customer base. You will have some inquire about why you chose to change your name; these people are just curious about whether or not you had some drama, which is usually why most girls go by a different name, but since your side of the street is clean, you will have no issues my dear I say do it if it will make you feel more comfortable with yourself.

Idk, mine starts with T and I do okay.
Having an established reputation and consistent service is all that matters. You appear to be a knockout so there's no reason why you can't do extremely well here regardless of what your name is.

While there are names that are similar, if you make yourself stand out with your service skills as well as you do with your looks, then it does not matter as any guy will know the difference and be able to find you because of the impression. Unless you are uncomfortable with or do not like your user name, I would not change it.
You said that you prefer your clients not to write reviews, but since you advertise here, you cannot have a no review policy, it should be 100% the choice of the hobbyist to review you or not. There is not a problem to ask them not to put activities in the review that you did BCD and you do not offer to all clients. Reviews are your best form of advertisement, use them to their fullest extent.

Thanks girl! Nope, no drama here. I try to avoid drama as much as possible in both personal and professional life.
I figure if I'm going to change my hobby name, now is the time, before I become more established!
