Default New Article on George Floyd Death

https://spectator.org/george-floyd-d...cology-report/

Among other interesting findings:

"But before we get to the details of Floyd’s tox screen, let’s consider the following autopsy findings by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner:

No life-threatening injuries identified

No facial, oral, mucosal, or conjunctival petechiae
No injuries of anterior muscles of neck or laryngeal structures
No scalp soft tissue, skull or brain injuries
No chest wall soft tissue injuries, rib fractures (other than a single rib fracture from CPR), vertebral column in juries, or visceral injuries
Incision and subcutaneous dissection of posterior and lateral neck, shoulders, back, flanks, and buttocks negative for occult trauma."

No neck injuries is pretty significant.

If you read the entire article you will have doubts about the criminal culpability of the officers involved.

This is bullshit. Stop telling us what he didn't have and tell us what he did have. He died of something.

And I have no doubt about the criminal culpability of the guy who knelt on his neck for 8 minutes. That guy was a sadist, pure and simple. He stared at the camera defiantly as if to say "What are you going to do about it?"

He was out to show the crowd that he was the tough-guy alpha male - he who must be obeyed. He is a sociopath and will deserve whatever punishment he gets.

What happens if a jury doesn’t convict him on murder charges. Will he “deserve” that? Just like OJ Simpson?

From the article:

but by the fact that he had in his bloodstream over three times the potentially lethal limit of fentanyl, a powerful and dangerous pain medication known to shut down the respiratory system and cause coma and death.

You mean you haven't seen the list of drugs Floyd had in his body? He might very well have died that day without Chavin kneeling on his neck but he did and he will in my opinion, be found guilty of murder for it.

But to be completely informed of why Floyd was taken to the ground for resisting ( watch the new video that AG Ellison tried to keep under wraps to ensure a successful prosecution, his words ) and the fact that he already was having trouble breathing because of the drugs he had ingested and had tested positive for COVID makes for a more informed opinion, that is if an informed opinion is of any interest to you.

https://www.npr.org/sections/live-updates-protests-for-racial-justice/2020/06/04/869278494/medical-examiners-autopsy-reveals-george-floyd-had-positive-test-for-coronavirus

A full autopsy report on George Floyd, the man who died after being restrained by Minneapolis police last month, reveals that he was positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The 20-page report also indicates that Floyd had fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system at the time of his death, although the drugs are not listed as the cause.

In video taken by bystanders, Floyd, 46, is shown repeatedly pleading that he cannot breathe as he is held down with a knee on his neck by former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin, with three other officers present. The incident has sparked nationwide — and even worldwide — protests.

Floyd's death has been ruled a homicide.

The autopsy report from Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office concludes the cause of death was "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression." That conclusion, death due to heart failure, differs from the one reached by an independent examiner hired by the Floyd family; that report listed the cause of death as "asphyxiation from sustained pressure."

This medical examiner's report does not mention asphyxiation. However, according to prosecutors, in charging documents filed last week, early results "revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation."
The medical examiner's report also details blunt-force injuries to the skin of Floyd's head, face and upper lip, as well as the shoulders, hands and elbows and bruising of the wrists consistent with handcuffs.

Signed by Dr. Andrew M. Baker, it says Floyd had tested positive for the novel coronavirus on April 3. A post-mortem nasal swab confirmed that diagnosis. The report notes that because a positive result for coronavirus can persist for weeks after the disease has resolved, "the result most likely reflects asymptomatic but persistent ... positivity from previous infection."
In addition to fentanyl and methamphetamine, the toxicology report from the autopsy showed that Floyd also had cannabinoids in his system when he died.

Floyd also had heart disease, hypertension and sickle cell trait — a mostly asymptomatic form of the more serious sickle cell disease, an inherited blood disorder that primarily affects African Americans.

He OD’d. The cops will get off, if the charge is murder, and the riots will restart in full force.

The price of justice. If they wish to tear up their town because a jury finds someone innocent, so be it.

The country is totally fucked up anyway.

The importance of the point that he didn't have muscle injuries in his neck supports the idea the knee on the neck was not the cause of his death.

You should read the entire article - it addresses what he did have - lethal concentrations of respiratory suppressants in his system.

point of note. chauvin was following SOP on restraint kneeing on his neck. he was on one side of the blood stream. if he had blocked both blood stream, floyd would have suffocated much quicker than 8 minutes.

floyd complained for 8 minutes before passing out. doesn't sound like he was suffocating if he can talk.
