I am not very familiar with SNG- only been twice and both were short stays. Please enlighten me on any locations that are a must see/do as well as good shopping locations.

Singapore has many excellent restaurants. A couple of ideas:
Good steak - Morton's
Seafood (local) - Long Beach at Dempsey
Japanese - Aoki, Tatsuya
For an experience though, try the Tippling Club.
