Its not something that can be "scanned" to understand the detailed changes that are being proposed. This biggest changes come from the amendments/changes to the previously passed acts that are referred to in this bill. For example, repeal of penalties currently in place to deter illegal entry or re entry into the country. Increase the stipulation of deportation of an illegal alien by requiring there was a crime committed requiring a 5 year prison sentence. Even if an illegal alien committed a crime requiring a minimum of 5 year prison term, deportation is up to the discretion of the presiding judge. Also, previously deported individuals would be granted re entry and Homeland Security would have the responsibility of transport of the alien back to the United States. Is that enough to demonstrate the absurdity of this. When things like this are not championed by the Main stream media, read deep and the truth will come to light. They know this is a loser with the American public

Absolutely amazing. I wrote out a lengthy response to this but realize that, as a conservative, we are supposed to all bend to the will pf progressives so I deleted it. Discussing why we should not open up all borders and give non citizens more rights than citizens is a complete waste of time and energy. Conservatives are always expected to bend to the will of progressives. Its a sad day in America when its own citizens disavow what our country stands for while taking advantage of what she offers. There are plenty examples of socialism out there, those who like it should move there.

What is a progressive or a conservative or a moderate? If you are for small government, low taxes, pro-choice, pro-LGBT, are you a conservative or progressive or moderate? If you for open borders, are pro-life, pro-2nd admendment (I know such people), are you conservative or progressive or moderate? If the majority of your beliefs are conservative, does a single belief, say pro-choice, get you kicked out of that tribe? Labels are interesting, but too easy-IMHO.

Why would you assume being a conservative means you are against LGBT groups. Common misconception pushed by a rabid media. I have never met a conservative who dislikes a person solely for being gay. On the other hand, I know tons of people who dislike groups (all types of groups) who push their beliefs and agendas on others. If people would just mind their own business and expend their energies to further their wellbeing we would have much fewer problems.

The difference I see between conservatives and progressives is simple. If you evaluate what conservatives fight for are based on current law in the US. The issue progressives push are currently against the law in the US. Such as open borders, wealth confiscation, gun confiscation, etc... We became the nation we are by laws, why should we disregard them.

Where did I "assume" that conservatives are against LGBT groups? Abortion is legal under current law in the US. Therefore, using your logic, conservatives are fighting for abortion. You have me very confused.
