Question for the guys
Guys does the amount of screening or lack there of by a provider play a role in your decision in seeing them.
I'm asking because i recently saw Dorthy Monroe. Was screened sometime back. Actually went through the process after seeing so many complain about not being able to get passed it. It did not deter me. I actually saw it as a challenge.
After reading her reviews i was like "it may be worth it if she's the freak the reviews make her out to be." I believe it was worth the time.

Question for the Ladies
Ladies does it really cut down on the amount of creeps you see.

Not at all. It's not waterboarding. You give out as much info as you seem fit and move on.

Yep. Pretty much. DM screening is reasonable. There r some that r over the top and those I don't even attempt so as not to waste time on both sides.

I screen to my comfort level. Obviously DM screens to her comfort level.

If feasible (The guy and i) we both move forward w/the appt process

I didn't pass Dorthy's screening requirements, I don't write reviews, and have only seen providers Dorthy felt were not good references for various reasons. She did recommend some providers to see and afterwards send screening information again.

nope. I decide if I would like to see them before. as in my decision has already been made. screening takes place after my decision and then it is up to her.

of course I can always change my mind during the process or if schedules/other things don't work out for meeting up. for example, I've had some return a message 3 days late saying they're free now. uh, 9.9 out of 10 times that's a no?

challenge? not myself because ultimately it is her decision to make. I'm not trying to talk anyone into anything.

and as for screening, so far I haven't come across any screening I'd consider over the top. not even Dorthy's. probably just been lucky. maybe some crazy screening would effect my decision but I can't answer from that perspective right now..

I've had the same trouble getting certain unnamed providers to cover for me and give a good reference whenever I wanted to hook up with some different ladies. I like to take the easy way out and don't worry about. I don't post any reviews either of the various ladies I've been with before but I've made several comments on some thier message threads whenever they do come up from time to time.

I follow these steps when vetting a potential paramour:

1. I read her reviews and her website and check out any other sites she advertises on. Ladies without websites are much less appealing to me. I also check out her reviewers - see how many other ladies he has posted reviews about, how long each reviewer has been on the board and whether he posts about mediocre experiences. If he only posts 9s and 10s I discount his posts.

2. I Google her telephone number to see if it is associated with other review boards, screening sites and web sites.

3. I won't see ladies who advertise on Backpage. Call me a snob, but I have my standards. Part of my interest is the illusion that she's classy.

4. I also won't see anyone who does not have reviews. Yes, some ladies ask that they not be reviewed. But I want to know that others have seen her, get a sense of what she's like and whether I feel there's going to be mutual attraction (other than the obvious one with my Benjamins).

5. I am listed on TER, P411 and Eccie. I use P411 almost exclusively to initiate contact and do not provide my telephone number or a personal email. Some providers have asked to communicate via text, but I politely decline and say that I'm a very private person and all have respected that.

6. Screening for me works both ways. I want her to be comfortable that I am not LE or a bad client. I want to know about her services and interests so that I am relatively sure that we'll have fun.

Valid points being made here.

I'd have to make the decision first rate-wise regardless of her screening process. If she's on my list then I'd go through her screening if she's the one I want to see. I may not see her that particular day, but screening would at least be out of the way when I'm ready to go in.

She has to be my type. I've learned to parse the pics and reviews carefully. Girls and guys exaggerate. I don't see them unless they are reviewed by someone I know is legit. Some pimps post bogus reviews. I also look for any indication the chick has a bad attitude. It won't get better although I do understand the YMMV factor. I check to make sure their menu includes the activities I enjoy. You can also get this from the eccie reviews. I generally don't see really cheap ladies because they're cheap for a reason. If all looks good, I'll contact them to see if they're available. If they are difficult to schedule, I move on. Some refuse to see FOUGs like me. I generally find ladies I like and stick with them. You could say I'm monogamous that way. Ha

At least I can vouch that the OP isn't crazy or a robber as mentioned in an alert... I took a chance even after the alert... So if any ladies are worried don't be... He is very professional and sweet... The only thing he robbed me of is my ENERGY... HA

If you screen properly you won't have any craziness but girls get caught up in the money and that's how situations occur... Just like men who think with there little head and not there big head and go see crazy girls on BP because they were to damn lazy to search...
