Why do you think they are being sent? First thing that comes to mind, is that N.Korea is likely trying to buy or partner with Russia on other things like food, fuel, and technology. The reciprocation of money vs. humans' was likley a part of the exchange and hence was a part of my first thought- send over the gulag members of N.Koreas prisons and tell them they can either fight to stay alive in Russia or die in prison.
Second would be- Trying to draw other countries into the fray with adding the deaths of N.Koreans by a design of atrocities and outrage. (won't work tho) or.
Third- These ppl are in exchange to technology via people to help N.Korea in missile and or nuclear technologies directly- Meaning scientists coming over the N.K in exchange for physical bodies in Russia.
My bigger concern is - where are the Russians who are in the military right now, or are they at such a deficit that there aren't any more. That's how they fought the Germans in WWII. Marching right into Machine Gun fire- even without guns at times, just like zombies trying to run over each other till one of them got to the nest.
Russians are weird- and not great fighters if truth be told.
