I don't travel very much but am planning a trip to Captiva/Sanibel or Key West. I was hoping to get some information on finding the best deals for this type of trip. I do want to stay in a nice place, so cheap is not my goal...just value.

There is a Groupon out now that is good till 6/7/15. When you book your flight and hotel together through Expedia it will significantly reduce your price. I found this to be the best deal out there now.

I booked a day too early dang it. Southwest Airlines has a great deal on flights now for travel between August 24th and December 16th. Fares starting at $49. Sale ends today, Thursday June th.

CM, if you booked on SWA, you can cancel, rebook using the funds from the higher priced ticket, and the difference you have a year to use.
