Default STIMULUS CHECK

Sometime this year, we taxpayers will again receive another 'Economic Stimulus' payment.
This is indeed a very exciting program, and I'll explain it by using a Q & A format:
Q. What is an 'Economic Stimulus' payment ?
A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.
Q.. Where will the government get this money ?
A. From taxpayers.
Q. So the government is giving me back my own money ?
A. Only a smidgen of it.
Q. What is the purpose of this payment ?
A. The plan is for you to use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.
Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China ?
A. Shut up.
Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the U.S. economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:
* If you spend the stimulus money at Wal-Mart, the money will go to China or Sri Lanka * If you spend it on gasoline, your money will go to the Arabs.
* If you purchase a computer, it will go to India , Taiwan or China ..
* If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico , Honduras and Guatemala ..
* If you buy an efficient car, it will go to Japan or Korea .
* If you purchase useless stuff, it will go to Taiwan .
* If you pay your credit cards off, or buy stock, it will go to management bonuses and they will hide it offshore.
Instead, keep the money in America by:
1) Spending it at yard sales, or
2) Going to ball games, or
3) Spending it on escorts, or
4) Beer or
5) Tattoos.
(These are the only American businesses still operating in the U.S. )
Conclusion:
Go to a ball game with a tattooed escort that you met at a yard sale and drink beer all day !

Actually, many people who get a "stimulus" check don't get any of their own money back because they didn't pay any federal income tax in the first place.

I myself didn't get a check during the last "stimulus" because I made too much money, lol. My brother, who's income is low enough that he pays no federal income tax, got a check for $1800. I told him that he was welcome.

Basically, "stimulus" checks are a poorly disguised mechanism for redistributing wealth. If politicians simply wanted to give us back some of "our" taxes, they could lower tax rates, right? But, that's not how it's been done.

I'm not trying to start a big political debate, I'm not being political I'm just pointing out fact. The republicans and the democrats both have given us "stimulus" packages, therefore have demonstrated their support for redistribution of wealth.

Ok, stimulus checks are ok, but it rewards those that pump out babies and are already being supported by taxpayers. The more irresponsible you are, the bigger the reward. Don't pay your bills, thats ok, there will be some kind of modification program for you. Those that need help, should be helped. I see too many everyday at the store, using their govt issued debit card, then pile in the car with mom and the rest of the family who just finished using theirs.

I pay my taxes every year and when one of the last stimulus checks were mailed out, I still got money sent to me (somewhere between $300 - $600). It was the only time I got one... but I still got one and I still pay my taxes every yer.
