Notice how the Obama White House and administration isn't outraged over the Pentagon leaks that are showing up?

Democrats on Capitol Hill are outraged. But Obama isn't. But he is outraged that some are speculating the leaks are coming out of his white house.

I don't know. But it is telling that Obama hasn't asked for an investigation (either special prosecutor or otherwise).

He knows. The answer is damning. The leaks are damning. But Obama is only interested in professing outrage, with no interest in finding out who.

Like any investigation: ask who benefits from the leaks? proceed from there.

first dems arent exactly OUTRAGED (as whirlie stated) and neither are the repubs, second there is an investigation underway, third anyone with an IQ above 5 knows damn well its counter productive to spout off about the particulars when you conduct invsetigations, fourth COF and whirlie arent capable of understanding any of the above ..

WASHINGTON -- President Obama says he has "zero tolerance" for leaks of classified information and that his administration investigates every such instance.

He stopped short of saying there is a specific investigation underway into the source of recent news stories about U.S. drone strikes against terrorists and cyber-attacks on Iran’s nuclear program.

But Obama said that leaks of classified information about national security matters make life harder for him and put American civilians and military in harm's way, and that his administration tries to make sure that sources of such leaks "suffer consequences" for their actions.

"We don’t play with that," Obama told reporters in a short news conference in the White House briefing room.

In the wake of the stories, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) has called for a special prosecutor to investigate leaks, which he says are designed to portray Obama as a strong leader on national security matters.

Democrats have also expressed concern. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, says that the recent spate of leaks could endanger American lives and "undermine America’s national security."

Why?

It's one area that the Obama campgain can drive up favorables ; showing Obama as a strong commander.

But they are so disconnected from the reality of the office and what Americans expect of a commander in chief that the leaks backfired.

And as in all Washington scandals. The cover up is what will get them. I smell the sharks schooling over this issue. And it is not being drive by Capitol Hill Republicans but Democrats. Has Panetta made any statements? Maybe he is outraged. He should be.

Because it makes him look like a tough, war-time president. It makes him look tough on terrorists and terrorism kind of like signing the NDAA 2012 did. To me, it makes him look like Candidate Obama instead of President Obama.

Obama said he had zero tolerance... Obama also said that he would have no lobbyists in the White House and that unemployment would not go above 8%. Obama talks a lot of shit but lacks credibility and that is being nice.
