Default Golf in the metroplex

So my favorite course is Tribute. I play once a month there without fail. I love links golf and was wondering which courses you like and if there is another links course around here?

for the cheapest golf, Oakridge CC Garland, Jupiter & Beltline

I paid $3200 for 3 years, free cart free everything and I can bring one guest per month and only pay for 1/2 cart fee

Both are close and you are correct. Great courses. I like Coyote ridge a little more than Indian Creek.

Wow, not a bad deal if you get to golf a lot. I will check it out. Not that far from me. Any thoughts on Tour 18? Have never played yet.

Tour 18 is fun to play at least once in a lifetime!

Live-out your fantasy shot on the 17th island green at Sawgrass among others.

There is a website I believe the URL is: www.golfq.com

It may say Stracka.com. They have discounts to Tour 18 and other courses.

well I lived on the course for 4 1/2 years, I had 6 fairways and a creek for my backyard, not a bad for Dallas county.

btw not a bad course but not the best

Here is a great deal from Golfq.com if you and your partner qualify. They are having a qualifier next month to play at Horseshoe Bay in a 2 Man Scramble tournament in November. The qualifying teams only pay $280.00 for 2 nights and 3 rounds of golf at Horseshoe Bay. This is an awesome deal.

Ok, not exactly a golf course, but I love TopGolf.
Great place to hit the ball.

The new course next to the Tribute is supposed to be good, Old Great American Golf I believe. Best course I've played in the Metroplex is TPC Craig Ranch.
Cowboys, Texas Star, Heritage Ranch,Bridlewood, Tierra Verde are among other favorites. I belong to Avidgolfer and use coupons for just paying cart fees.

i'me close to these as well but i like Indian Creek Creeks Course better than Coyote Ridge. do like the Tribute which i usually play once a year using Avid Golfer coupon. a couple of courses i really like that you need to try. Tierre Verde in Arlington. real nice maybe not as well known. feels like your in a remote area and the only hole you see is the one you're playing. i like that. Tangle Ridge in Grand Prairie is really nice and can usually get a pretty good deal on GolfQ. there's plenty of great ones but those two maybe a little lesser known.

nobody has mentioned Castle Hills - good course, I think they played a US Amatuer event there about 8 years ago. Challenging but not a links course. I think the only links style course in the metroplex is the Tribute.

Tour 18 is a lot of fun but its a slow round even in the summertime.
