iGrill - I can monitor the smoker temp and meat temp from the comfort (and warmth) of my house without having to go out and continually lift the lid and check. Great for those "low & slow" smokes...

I love the app on "Person Of Interest" that lets you hijack someones phone and listen to their conversations, read their messages, etc. The one I use isn't as good.

I have a soft place for the Jumbo Stuffed 'Shrooms from Houlihans. Pairs well with their 1L LIT.



Also I love the Bang Bang shrimp at Bonefish grill.




Outback's Bloomin' Onion is among my faves, too.

While not an app, smashburger serves the best sweet potato fries in the city. Try them with chipotle mayo on your next visit.

Now with the exception of the bruschetta, you may notice all these are fried. Two tips: portion control and infrequent consumption.

More often, the rich variety of ingredients featured in the salads of local restaurants make for a better app.
