Obama has made many stupid, irrational decisions. This is just one of them. Why he is turning down instant jobs during our depression is beyond me. We've discussed this before. Truly insane.

Shame, but there was a lot of heat from residents of some states the line would run through.Like Nebraska, wanted to protect the aquifer.

Yeah, FUCK safe water in our aquifers. Money is more important than clean air and water. We can always make gas masks out of petroleum and buy water from T Boone and other water rights barons.

We have thousands of miles of pipeline in the US which cause NO problem. This one wouldn't either. It's just President Obama sending more resources and jobs to China. Thanks, Mr. President!

We literally have thousands of miles of existing pipelines.
Not one of them has ever contaminated a aquifer.
This project has already been studied to death.
This is pure Eco-Fascism.

When gas is $4.00 this summer and unemployment is still 8% the President is going to have his ass handed to him.
Libs get your argument straight, its not the aquifer, its the oil sands. Jeez. Canada also pulled out of Kyoto.
Ride your unicorn to the polls in Nov.

Really? Maybe you use the wrong search engine?
Or maybe thousands is right, but what about the other MILLIONS of miles?

Are you saying that a leaking pipeline cannot contaminate an aquifer? Are you saying they are going to pump the oil SANDS through the pipeline? Back to school, gnadfly! It has never been the liberals who are complaining about this who need a better education.
And pulling out of Kyoto means what - climate change is a hoax or that the greedy are on a collision course to destroy the planet?

Stupid shit, your reading comprehension is worse than WTF's.
The US went to Canada with concerns that the production from oil sands produced more CO2 and had more environmental impact than normal oil production. Canada told them to mind their own business. Canada admitted when they backed out of Kyoto in part because their CO2 footprint was growing due to the oil sands production.
This is the "talking point" that Obama is pissed off about because he has no control over Canada and cannot appease the eviro-nazis on this issue. It has nothing to do with the aquifer. My understanding is there's an oil pipeline already running thru the aquifer.
Have fun riding your unicorn to the polls. Hope your alarm clock is powered by Solyndra energy.

Stevie, you are truly an idiot. The backup plan is for Canada to pipe the oil to British Columbia, where it will be loaded on Chinese tankers. Do you try to be this stupid, or does it come naturally to you?
And Wave, please let me know where the last three major pipeline leaks occurred, and the what the consequences were. Thank you.

I actually think the President is wrong on this one I think the gains are greater than the risks.
