Default Tom Lehrer

Ran across this today:

https://www.buzzfeed.com/bensmith/to...yg#.cjQxVW1VGR

I still have both his albums, being one who listened to Dr Demento as a teen and loved this type of humor in college. I haven't thought about him in years...this article gives me yet another reason to buy a turntable and pull those albums down from the upper shelf in the closet....

Great read and sounds like a really interesting, extremely intelligent and over all good guy.
Loved Dr Demento !
Nice to hear about an individual that puts others (Friends, Classmates, Students) above himself.

Thanks for posting that. I would have been disappointed if I missed reading about him.

First listened to Tom Lehrer in the early 1970's. I had a teacher that was really into the words in the songs. I recall singing along with "Vatican Rag" in my third grade class in parochial school. I have one of his LP's in my collection.
