Arrow Wanna Go To Big Lou's?

I would like to go to Big Lou's and try their famous 42" pizza, but little ol' me can't eat it all myself. I would like to get a group of people about 8-10 or so to meet up there. Each person would pay $9 each for the pizza and their own drinks and anything extra they might want. I know I'm going to order hot wings! It probably will be sometime next week in the evening or even tomorrow night. Who wants to come?

It's on my bucket list of things to try in San Antonio before I die. And that's good, because I may suffer a massive coronary after eating that much cheese, meat and sauce! Which toppings would you go with? With my carnivorous "meat-tooth," I LOVE meat-lovers pizzas, but my favorite is probably the most-simplistic pizza; Pizza Margherita.

I was thinking the super topping. I also love the meat lovers but have convinced myself that if I get supreme that it's somewhat healthy because it has veggies lol!!

I went there in December with my company softball team and got plastered. I'm down to go as long as it's not a wiener fest at the table.

well Pizza lovers, being that I am Italian and grew up In New jersey I can tell you a thing or two about authentic pizzeria style pizza. While big Lou's is a fun place to hang out and the Pizza is leaps and bounds better than pizza hut, it is just ok as far as good pizza is concerned. In San Antonio The best Pizza I have found as far as east coast style is Miss Ellies on bitters and 281 and the chances of having your car stolen goes way down at this location

Carguy: I would agree with you. I think the two best places for pizzas are NYC (pies) and Chicago. I like a place that a great friend took me too a few weeks ago. It is a Chicago style pizza place called Kennedy's. Not as good deep dish as Chicago but hey beats pizza hut, dominos or papa johns any day of the week. Oh yeah and twice on Sundays!

Some of the best pizza places I have ever had in NYC were small Italian ma and pop pizzierias. They had the checkerboard table clothes and big red glasses.
