I would have to question that notion. Although the Corona Virus family has infected both humans and animals for generations this particular virus Covid-19 appears to be unique. Not only do I question that it's a naturally occurring virus I also have doubts that it's a lone virus, there's a good possibility a strain of Bacteria could be working in tandem with it. The big question for me has always been how did it enter into the population so quickly.

Correct, CV19 appears to have been isolated in a Wuhan labratory from a species of bat in China. This strain recently jumped in large numbers.
