It’s absurd to listen to a dementia addled president who can barely find his way onstage lecturing energy companies about how to price their products. It’s economically illiterate scapegoating before a midterm election. The fault is entirely his and that of the green extremists he serves

not sure if you heard the press conference he had today, but he stated that he will continue to release from the SPR, and that the admin struck a deal with the domestic producers to repurchase oil at 70.00 per barrel when prices stabilize. Further that production and rig counts are continuing up and at 12 million bbls by year end. I know it's likely not going to meet the fan fare of the right who cannot wait to black list any actions as being more than a ruse to get votes for the mid-terms, but Joe B has been releasing oil for months, so while I think there is a little bit of that in the mix, it's an attempt to stave off some of the pricing ridiculousness that producers have been reaping huge profits from. While I don't like government interdiction of pricing on commodities; as a player on the stage, they have the ability and some leverage to minimize the gouging that is going on.

He said they hope to repurchase oil when prices are at or below about $67-$72 per barrel. As I mentioned in another thread, anyone with any common sense knows a target for his buyback criteria is meaningless drivel designed to try and fool the public (again counting on the libtards dumb and ill-informed voter base). Oil has not been that low for over a year.

So Senile Biden can wish in one hand for $70 oil and shit in his other hand and we all know which one will get filled first

Remember when Democrats prevented Trump from refilling the strategic petroleum reserve at $24/barrel and then celebrated it as a win against big oil?

And now Senile Biden is "hoping" to buy at $70, from a domestic oil industry he has done everything in his power to destroy, after offering to pay the Saudi's $80 a barrel to hold off on production cuts until after the midterms.

Yeah, tell me why you think the domestic producers are going to bend over and sell oil at a discount to Senile Biden anytime soon

If every President who wanted lower gas prices at election time raided our emergency stockpile there would be no emergency stockpile.

Senile Biden is the only one this corrupt & derelict in his duties. We are now at a huge risk if someone or something disrupts our oil and gas supply.

Depleting the national reserves is not a strategy. Hopefully it will stop once the midterms are over, and there is nothing left to gain from it.
