question from a newbie trying to get into the hobby

How did you get references?
It seems like a catch22, trying to contact providers, they ask for reference without giving giving the option for screening and on it goes.
I know about, P411, does p411 help providers feel more comfortable setting up an appointment? I am unsure of the worth of their subscription.

Respectfully, just because a provider has newbie friendly does not always mean they are newbie friendly, I have made a point in my text/message to mention, I am new to the hobby and I haven't had luck. thank you for responding but this thread is more to understand how to start interactions without creeping out a provider and is there something I can do to help providers feel more comfortable so we can enjoy our business.

Not all ladies ask for or accept references, many have alternate methods of screening. Contact all the ones you find appealing & hope for the best.

OP 1. best thing to do is read her ad or website Entirety before you start Texting, Email or Calling so you know what she wants for screening & rates if listed.

2. Have all the info she asking for in 1 Communication (ie) text, email calling, not going back and forth 100 times.

3. If you are uncomfortable with her screening or the info she require , then fine someone who may not screen as well.

4. Please see providers who screen for your saftey and her's.

Thank you for being the first one to respond with Great info he can use as opposed to being sarcastic and ridiculing him. The welcoming committee here is not welcoming at all. My group of friends warned me about Eccie and now I'm seeing it first hand. Again , thank you and I'm sure the OP thanks you as well. Op, I'm new here. I mostly use p411, Tryst. Have had no problems but I've been hobbying there for years. Get p411. Plus I have a great group of friends and we share intel, ladies etc.

You need to read her ad thoroughly if they’re newbie friendly, then they’re gonna have an alternate way to screen and yes, P411 helps a lot I would invest

Then look at the various links that Busty has provided.
You will find consistant advice through all of these.
And yes ignore fcp (fuckcenterpoint)

As for P411, yes, especially if you wish to date traveling providers that arrive in your area.
Also, consider sitting back a bit and watching/reading how this not a fantasy section of reality presents itself on this board.
Last, protect your board persona. But, start socializing so that your persona develops.

I will say this more. Watch the movie Water For Elephants. A veterinary student hops a Circus train out of desperation. After he almost got killed, thrown off the train at full speed, he asks for a job. The head whatever says hey guy before I take you to the boss do you have anywhere else to go. Anything else you can do besides this, because this is a nasty business and I ain't talking about cleaning animal poop The poor kid said this was it because he had no money and his parents had just died, he couldn't pay for veterinary school.

So I ask you, as you can see how negative, cruel, mean spirited this place is plus navigating this conundrum without any real help is this something you really want to do. Is it worth your time, money , peace of mind etc. Me, I've been on p411 for years. I'm great. If you are truly a newbie it's going to be very hard for you and as you see people are not very welcoming at all especially in the new age of them being afraid of a felony charge. If I was you I would not do this. If I didn't have the help I had, friendly non troll people, easier screening when I started in wouldn't be in the hobby world at all. It's a crazy, dangerous world where the sheep are actually wolves and the wolves are actually sheep.

There are plenty of providers that take newbies. Keep looking until you find the right ones. As others mentioned, read the provider’s website (if they have one) and, if you’re comfortable with what they need, provide the info for them to verify you. If you’re not comfortable, move on. I would find providers that are also on P411. IMO P411 is well worth the investment. Once you have one or two Okays there, you’re off to the races. I’ve only been doing this for a year but I’ve learned a lot along the way.
