Provider of the Year?

I recently had this idea that at the end of this year the gents of San Antonio vote on our own "Provider of the Year". This is purely hypothetical right now, so I'm not quite sure on how any of it would actually work. The title obviously wouldn't mean much other than bragging rights, but I thought it might be a nice way for us to show our appreciation for San Antonio's favorites.

At this point the only qualification rules I can think of would be as follows:
1) must be a "Verified Provider" on ECCIE
2) must be a San Antonio local (or at least provide regular service to SA)

(I'm looking to keep this a San Antonio ECCIE thing, not intended for Touring Providers or BP only girls)

I see there being a nomination process in November with actual voting in December. Our 2011 winner would be announced early Jan 2012.

If there is enough interest in making this happen then we can discuss nomination and voting criteria. Thoughts?

I like it. I don't even care if it's anonymous, I don't have any problem stating who I would vote for. Hell I'd vote for provider of the year for 2010. The only "problem" is it's all subjective. You can really only choose from those you have seen, plus everyone has their preferences. It's a fun little game but can never be scientific since I'm sure some VERY good providers stay low volume or even UTR. Still nothing wrong with a little fun in choosing your favorite providers, kind of like a high school prom queen in that it really is a popularity contest.

I never considered having a coronation party. I love that idea!

1trvlman, I agree it would basically be a "popularity contest" (I think that's the idea) but it would at least be more meaningful than ECCIE's random "Provider of the Day".
