What are we classifying as outing now? Unless I missed something, which is possible, she was asking what would happen if she posted DM’s on here or on Twitter. The DM’s were from a board handle I assume, not from an account that would identify any real life information. That is not what I consider to be outing in the traditional sense. You can certainly argue that it’s not a cool thing to do, and it is not permitted on this board, but it doesn’t seem to me to rise anywhere near the same level as outing someone’s personal information. I have not seen her yet, but I would. In my view nothing about her board or Twitter presence would keep me away. She just seems like someone who is no nonsense and focused on her business.

I went back and checked and she did say screen shots of texts. If it was a screenshot that showed any personally identifiable information that would be a problem for sure. If that information was covered up, which most people do on Twitter, that’s not outing in my opinion.
