This is a completely bogus comparison. It was an Amtrak full of passengers, not tens of thousands of gallons of toxic chemicals with the potential of contaminating half the country. Everyone would’ve been gone long before any government officials showed up, since 99% of the passengers were treated and released within hours and there was no environmental threat.
