Default Yes let's...

...continue this discussion.

http://m.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=1361148&page=2

It was turning into an interesting discussion and one worth considering here in coed. Sorry to Mojojo for my part in taking that off track. I tried to keep my posts on topic, even just a little.

As far as this post goes:

I can see your comparisons are legit and the only differences between a SW and a provider is this:

One sells pussy on the street corner, while the other sells pussy on the internet. Everything else is basically the same (most girls have pimps, are in trouble with the law in other aspects of their life, ect.). Both are hookers who flat back for cash money.

I wonder when she quits the business, what a provider who has been providing for a number of years has on her current resume? Recent skills: sucking dick, massage w/o a license. Latest positions done: K-9, MISH, CG.

As an example, per that resume, if she told the truth, the last real job she had was 10 years ago, since she has no recent experience, it might just get past over, but she does have relative experience the position requires, so maybe call her in for an interview and seeing her get out of her brand new car, she does not look like she has been suffering for the last 10 years, but when the owner of the company comes in to interview her, he recognizes that he saw her for a BCD session a couple of years ago. I would love to get that priceless, first facial expression in a picture!

I think this topic would make for some lively

I know of three providers personal besides myself who have lucrative careers outside of the hobby. I know I keep up my skills and resume as I'm sure they do too. Lumping us all into one category is fine if that's what makes you feel better. Do what you need to do. But it doesn't make you right. It just makes you feel right. Again, do what you need to do.

The issue isn't one group being better than another. It started with this comment by blt:

Basically saying providers would live in shitty neighborhoods if it weren't for our ability to sell pussy. Does that mean that some providers are better at selling pussy than others??? Maybe. But I didn't say it.

I disagreed and said there are other skills women can use to live comfortably besides their pussies and that I along with many other ladies had and have careers before we started providing that allowed us to live very comfortably. I never said one group was better than the other. Not sure how or why it got turned into that. Maybe someone can help point it out so I don't give off that impression again.

I have to get to an appt but I really do think this is an interesting discussion. Are providers confined to only making money selling pussy? Would we be stuck living in squalor if not for what's in between our legs?

Actually-- it started with someone making a comment about putting people on their DNS list, then Biglatinmale making a comment about there being 700 providers in DFW, which led to my comment about SW, because a quick glance at his history suggests he leans heavily towards the SWers.... it was my way of saying his $40 would not be missed. His comment was directed at my smartassed comment.

A lot of us have careers, degrees, and the ability to make money that doesn't involve sucking dick. Those who know me well, know my reasons for being here.

The providers I know on a personal level all have outside jobs. This is a supplement to the other income stream
And it helps to keep them integrated into the regular world. Doing this as a sole income would be tedious I think. THN, I would guess that you have an outside job, although I didn't ask. But you were a delight to talk to in person! That makes me think you have a very regular life outside eccie.
Anyway, my $0.02.

My favorite question is, "If you have a full time job, then why are you doing THIS? Do you not make enough at your day job?"

I'm sure you ladies have gotten that question before, too. Am I right?

I never said that ALL providers do not have RL careers/jobs outside the hobby, it is my opinion that for MOST providers, providing is the majority if not the only source of income to live on. Could it be a fact for some, yes, but I do not state my opinion as fact and then have to back track later like you do. Then, when those ladies retire from providing, there will be a considerable gap in their resume when they go looking for work. Maybe they can say they were married and was a housewife for x number of years, but I was trying to be lighthearted with the rest of my post. But take it as you see fit, you always do.

.......

To freely share an opinion, that MAY be true for some ladies, especially the younger ones and the ladies who do not have the skill set to get a RW job that makes decent money, nothing wrong with that, but that is the way it is sometimes. They do not want to make minimum wage or close to it, working in the RW, if they can even get a job to begin with, and they want more than to live below the poverty line and have nice things that they would not have otherwise or would take much longer to save up and get.

So, some will turn to providing, dancing at a strip club, and let's not forget the ladies in the RW who, not by their work skill/ethics who persevere and actually excel at their position in the RW company they work for, rather suck dick and fuck their way up the ladder in position and pay rate. If you do not believe it goes on, you are kidding yourself. That is how some ladies make ends meet and are able to afford the few luxuries they would not ordinarily have and maybe one reason guys enjoy adult review boards like this so they can determine who they want to help in their endeavor and get the satisfaction of getting their dick wet and ego stroked at the same time, making it a win/win.

If you disagree, instead of hijacking this thread and taking a shot at me, then please give your opinion of the topic of why providers sell pussy for a living either as their only means of income or a supplement to their RW job income.

Hey now...in all fairness the "all knowing one" complains about everybody and everything.
The line he uses often about others having agendas is classic.

And David, Bigdog, NRH, actually does know everything about everything....if you have any doubt just ask him.

Not with me they don't. I'm a cowgirl-doggy style man. Don't lump all ladies in together like that. It's very short sighted.

I am a firm believer that sex work (dancing, providing, web camming, becoming a porn star or being a practice dummy for a gynecologist) is work. Tradionational work? No. Makes a living? Abso-fucking-lutely. Means to an end? You damn right!

With that being said, the most successful individuals who are passionate about their chosen "occupation" realize this and acquire and/or sharpen their marketing, advertising, customer service skills accordingly.

Afterall - becoming a PRN, part-time, or even full-time provider gives you the opportunity to expand or supplement your income in a short period of time. However, this industry is time-sensitive. Just like atheletes and entertainers, we are have an expiration date. So, it's either go hard or go home.

In fact, there are a good handful of us who actually end up using our acquired skills to build small businesses via the sex industry. Afterall, escorting is legal. We pay taxes, establish LLC's, take small business classes, and write off lingerie and photoshoots when it's time to pay the tax man.

So, not all of us are just laying up at our homes with legs spread open with phones in our hands waiting for "tricks" to call so we can go out and buy some loubitions. We ALL still have mouths to feed, bills to pay, and college loans to pay off just like any other individual.

But for the ones who do like to lay up, have sex, and get paid, there's nothing wrong with that either - It's our bodies. And the money that we make is our money. Don't tell us how to use either one of them.

*Closing Statment*

Don't judge sex workers. Don't judge those who make a living. Don't judge those who like having fun. In the end, we don't judge you hobbyists for paying us, now do we?

They're obviously lying. This thread will end up being proof once and for all that we undoubtedly lay at our incalls all day waiting for random dicks to pop in the door so we can collect money and never work a real job.

Ladies there is no need to defend yourselves or provided explainations on why you do what you do. Because I am.sure in the hell not providing a reason why I pay to get my cock.sucked. in general, the diff between sw and providers here are the sw is more likely than not are pimped out and on some.illicit advil.

I personally dont care why you do.it, just glad you do.
