New to Pittsburgh
Hi There! I hope everyone is well!
Due to an amazing opportunity that came my way, my IRL work will be bringing me to Pittsburgh a few times a year starting this summer. I plan on staying an extra day or two after my work is complete to explore and maybe meet a new friend or two. However, I wanted to know what are the preferred areas to stay and places to advertise.
Thank you in advance for any insight!

The answers you receive may depend on where the person responding lives. When you look at the Pittsburgh area you have
Central - Greentree / North Shore / South Side / Downtown
North - Cranberry
West - Robinson / Airport area
South - Meadowlands / Washington
East - Monroeville
Someone in one area may not want to travel to another given the distance and traffic. Obviously being centrally located limits the distance guys have to travel compared to other options. So you have to decide yourself how that may impact things depending on the length of your stay. And since you said you also want to explore the area, a lot more options being closer to downtown than on the outskirts
Of those areas that are centrally located, I believe Greentree is most convenient for hobbyists from a traffic / parking aspect. But for you yourself exploring, the North Shore / South Side / Downtown would all make sense
In terms of safety, as long as you stay in a nice hotel, you will be fine there

From my understanding-- Downtown is great from an exploring point of view-- but the parking situation makes it pretty questionable for the gentlemen.
From what I've seen-- it feels like Pittsburgh is a lot like my home city in the sense that if you are going anywhere, you're likely crossing a body of water-- which gives some folks the impression that things are much further away than they actually are.

Lol, the pictures are of me. One from the front, one from the profile. One in workout attire, one in regular attire. One with my naturally curly hair and one with my hair straightened. The only difference between the one in all black that was taken in December and the one in the jeans and white top was taken last week, is a loss of 15 lbs because I work with a trainer.
Very much so the same person but go off lol, Jacuzzme.

I don’t know how you ladies pull that off. Two pics with totally different looks, both smoking hot.

Right? Women are pretty incredible. I've come to the conclusion that we could run the world but we opt not to because otherwise men would become unmanageable, lol.

For exploring Downtown/Strip District/South Side and North Shore, but to meet people those places are horrible (bad parking, very busy, more attention) so better off in Greentree/Robinson or Ross/Cranberry imo

Besides the 3 rivers, you also have two tunnels and two traffic filled parkways which make going from say the Airport area to Monroeville a pain in the ass and vice versa

"Girl, I'd go through 2 tunnels and over a bridge for you" is basically the sexiest thing you can say to a Pittsburgh girl.

I guess being from Dallas-- where sometimes guys travel 40-50 miles to see a provider... I just chuckle a little when guys gasp at the thought of 8 miles. I get it, though-- Cincinnati has the same issues if you need to go from east to west or into Kentucky.

8 miles in Pittsburgh can take over an hour to drive ... I've been to Dallas, y'all are crazy - 50 miles is like a 30 minute drive.
